Neutrals are like the Old Faithfuls of makeup. I love ‘em, but sometimes they can get a little boring. If you’re looking for fresh ideas, why not try a splash of color?

Sometimes all it takes is a peep at the yellow nail polish on your toes or bright red lips looking back at you in the mirror to brighten your day.

Here are a few ideas to put a little color in your step. :)

Love the little collage u did Karen, very eye-popping :) I dunno why, but since it started warming up I’ve been drawing more and more towards bright things…just bought 2 HiDef nailpolishes in blue and green :)

I think I will take the plunge and do a red lip – finally!!! I just need to find the perfect red lippy + a way to put it on my lips such that they are not overwhelming.

I am very partial to corals and berries when it comes to lipstick – maybe its time to be a bit more colorful!!!

You could always try a coral red! That might make the transition easier for you. How ’bout MAC’s Viva Glam Cyndi?

I was looking at that when I was at the MAC counter at Macy’s last Wednesday — I think that might be my next purchase. My bestie and are hanging out on Thurs after work (im off Friday) — I can get it then!!!

It’s funny you posted the Show Pony palette look again. I looked it up a few days ago and wore it yesterday. :)

    Get out of my head!

I am so ready for some bright, springy toes. I’m mid-move to a new apartment and my new bed is awol. I’ll be bunking on the couch. My reward to myself after I get everything settled at the new place is going to be first pedicure of the spring and first pro one since I quit my old job and went back to school summer 08! I’m thinking I might try a green or teal for the first time ever.
