I've also learned as I'm getting older that I don't have to care what people think about me and I often just speak out to say whatever I want. Still being mindful not to be hurtful, of course. ;) I hope that Shy will eventually come out of her shell b/c she'll make a great make up artist! If anything, you don't have to spill all the beans about your life - just be knowledgeable about your products and educate others about them.
