As much as I wish I could say, “Oh, yeah! I’ve definitely worn rainbow makeup and hair,” I can’t, because I have not.
Clearly, I need to rectify that situation ASAP. 🙂
I have worn rainbow accessories, though, as in rainbow bracelets…
And rainbow toe socks…
But no rainbow hats.
I don’t know if I could pull off a rainbow hat, but Tabs can. 🙂
I have worn rainbow-style manicures, though, where I paint each nail in a progression of colors…
Seriously, you gotta try the rainbow mani sometimes. It’s fun! And you’ll smile every time you look down at your nails.
How about you? Have you ever worn rainbow anything (makeup, clothes, socks, hair)?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
P.S. Happy hump day, friend!
This has been one of those weeks that just flies by, not that I’m complaining.
I love the extra hour of daylight at the end of the day, thanks to the clocks springing forward. I don’t know about the whole daylight savings time idea, but I like that when I’m finished working, usually between 6-7, and walk outside, it’s not totally dark. I can actually take a walk before dinner, which is so nice!
I feel like it’s almost time to take out the warm weather goodies again, ya know? Scents, sandals, shorts, dresses…
It’s not quite shorts weather here yet, but it’s a good time for spring scents. Today I’m wearing MAC Turquatic for the first time in months! It’s my ultimate warm weather fragrance.
Anywho, that’s enough rambling from me… I hope you have a lovely day!

What a cute idea for a blogpost! No, I haven’t worn any rainbow things, but I should. I’d love some rainbow socks. My friends had a beautiful rainbow commitment ring that I always admired. He has since remarried, and no longer wears the ring from his first marriage, but I remember it fondly. Love your idea about a rainbow mani. I will try that one, one of these days 🙂

Yes I had a pin that was a rainbow with my name on it as a child. I still have it!

Wore rainbow eyemakeup for the Pride parade on year. Really fun ^^

I’ve done rainbow eye makeup before – it’s fun! I love doing what I call “watercolor” eyes – like pinks, blues and purples blended together to make it look like a watercolor painting. Great look for the spring! I love those socks.

In my child hood mostly 😛

Hmmm I don’t think so, actually. But I kinda want to create a rainbow eye look now! 🙂

Closest thing would have to be my Tokidoki handbag that had every color imaginable on it and lots of it!

I’m the queen of the rainbow manicure! It’s fun and goes with everything!

I wear rainbow eyeliner… it’s very thin & blended into each other but it’s a nice touch

I’ve got rainbow socks from Sock Dreams! Lol, closest I’ve been to wearing rainbow. I’d like to do rainbow eyes but then… I don’t like yellow/orange so I don’t have any in my stash! 😛 Rainbow hair would also be fun, on my ends, but that’s so much money.XP Veggie dyes (the pink/blue/purple/bright red ones) are pricey, man!

I had a pair of rainbow mittens back during my college days that I loved so much!

I want those Shu Uemura lashes! 😀
OT: I have worn rainbow socks before, and probably some other rainbow stuff as a kid. I still love rainbow clothes and things if they come out, although I don’t own a HUGE amount.

Not really. I did have a rainbow-esque top, back when I was about 13, but that’s the closest I’ve ever come.
Even though I LOVE color, I’ve never been one to wear colorful eye makeup.
Marisa says
Yes, Love rainbow! I’ve worn rainbow socks. Also I’ve worn rainbow leg-warmers too! 🙂

No rainbow stuff for me. I’m loving the time change! Now I’m not half dead at 5pm 😛

Aaah… I was queen of rainbows in my youth! I had the most amazing pair of rainbow trousers (like these! http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Size-10-Designer-Rainbow-cord-trousers-for-Desigual-lovers-tie-dye-RRP-125-/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/Xn8AAOxy63FSw5ZR/$_35.JPG), but they were a bugger to clean! I also had a pair of jeans I slashes and patched up with rainbow fabrics 😀
Ooh, I love those shu lashes… I don’t wear falsies but I MUST own them!

Those lashes are so cool.

I love bold, bright colors so I’m no stranger to sporting rainbow colors. It’s been a few years since I’ve actually worn any rainbow gear though. I loved it back in high school but around that time the LGBT community started booming and I was getting all the wrong kinds of attention lmao. I had to take a break. But now I think I want those cute rainbow socks!

I’ve worn rainbow socks before. 🙂

Yes! I’m a sucker for rainbow stuff! Lately I’ve worn two unmatching fuzzy rainbow socks, it just makes me happy! I also love Color Club Halo Graphic polish with Sally Hansen Snowglobe over it 🙂 Karen, another reason why i think youre so wonderful, I love this rainbow post XD What does it mean, it’s so bright it’s so vivid, (uncontrollable sobs) it’s so intense!

I had the rainbow toe socks! Wore them with my fake birkenstocks, that was the cool thing.
Love your picture! We got a massive amount of snow today (snowiest year in Ann Arbor of all time, official today), we got stuck trying to go up a hill! Luckily I was able to work from home. I’m dying for summer stuff though, I have several sundresses on my Nordstrom wishlist, and I want to bust out my sandals (though my heels are still cracked from winter, eek!)
Ankita@corallista says
I don’t think I’ve ever worn anything rainbow apart from a themed eye makeup look (though I didn’t go out wearing it!).
Brooklynshoebabe says
I’ve worn rainbow false eyelashes; painted my finger and toe nails in rainbow colors; I make and wear rainbow loom bracelets. I’ve also worn a rainbow print scarf. I like color.
Ankita Singh says
I have, I have! I’ve worn (and often wear) a silk scarf in rainbow colours, that too to work! I believe it lifts some of the dullness from the usual dull blue/beige/grey/black/brown looks and the pop of colour makes me look my age and not like some 40 year old lady 😉
I keep the scarf away from my causals though, as they are colourful enough 🙂
Amber Hoskins says
Yep! I’ve worn rainbow liner on more than one occasion, from yellow in the inner corner, to purple on the outside. I had just been given a bobbi brown palette of 35 mini shadows with not a SINGLE neutral in sight, I was 13 and I thought ‘why not?’
