This series is brought to you by Buxom Color Choreography Eyeshadow. Buxom wants to inspire you to live life vividly.

So. Much. Beauty.

If your beauty wishlist is anything like mine, it just keeps getting longer every single day.

What’s up with that? ๐Ÿ™‚

A blush here, a mascara there — and before you know it, your wishlist reads like a novella.

If you’re ready to start crossing a few of those things off your beauty wishlist, don’t forget to enter the Makeup and Beauty Blog Buxom Photo Contest if you haven’t already.

You could take home a $500 Visa gift card and a selection of beautiful Buxom makeup worth an additional $109.

All told, it’s a prize package worth $609.

And entering couldn’t be a whole lot easier. Full details are down below, but here’s the gist of it: submit a picture of yourself in which you’re “living life vividly.”

Maybe something from a recent vacation, or a shot of yourself just having fun.

NOTE: Goofy face shots totally count…

This is how we do it!

…as do happy faces and big smiles. ๐Ÿ™‚

The beach makes everything better (even cold beaches like this one here!)

You might even have a perfect picture already, like how about that pic you took of yourself in that bright makeup look you did for Halloween?

Next stop: the grocery store!

Or how about a pic of yourself sporting a pair of bright, glossy lips?

Can you spot the husky tabby in this picture?

Highlights and life-changing hairdos also work!

Whatever you choose, your entries (remember, you can enter up to three pics) just have to show you “living life vividly,” like the pictures in this post.

For even more entry ideas, here’s a look at all of the entries so far.

Here’s how to enter

  1. Visit www.flickr.com and upload a photo that displays you “living life vividly,” as well as a short caption (200 characters or less) that explains the photo.
  2. Mark the photo as “public” (so I’m able to view it).
  3. Tag it with the following tag:
    • BuxomPhotoContestMakeupandBeautyBlog

  1. Nikki T says:

I dislike taking photos, and just photos of myself in general, so this is a rarity. It really captures my goofy side.

  2. Shannon says:

A picture from almost 6 years ago, but still a favorite of mine!

  3. Jasmine Valistreri says:

I jumped off south point with some friends of mine. It took me forever to work up the courage to jump but it was worth it. If that’s not living life vividly then I don’t know what is. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Superkitty says:

    So, I did two pictures..

I haven’t had bangs since I was 11. I’ve had the same haircut pretty much for about 12 years, so I went to a great stylist and told her I trusted her and she suggested bangs. *gulp* Sometimes, you have to go big or go home, right?

  5. Superkitty says:

    And this one –

Last year, we went on our first EVER vacation, and we went to Hawaii which was amazing.

  6. Robyn says:

Here’s my one and only entry:

I’ve done plenty of exciting things in my life. I’ve felt like I was living life vividly before…But I couldn’t think of a better way to express when I feel like I’m truly living, than when I’m with him.
    Love is a powerful thing

  7. imamakeupaddict says:

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and I went all out for this one!

  8. Nikki Palmer says:

Posted pictures of some of my exotic animal encounters (because they fascinate me, and make me so happy!). Truly wonderful experiences and memories

  9. Tania says:

I already entered in the previous post, will that one count?

  10. Lauren Sutherland says:

I took a ferry to school every day for high school, and the best part about getting out for the day was playing at the beach while waiting for our ferry. This is me on the last day of high school: jumping for joy that I was able to spread my wings and embrace summer and the future.

Also at the beach, this is the love of my life. His name is Sunny and he’s been my best friend for 12 years now. He’d do absolutely anything for me, including swimming in the freezing ocean and going for splashing runs during the summer.

And last but not least, is my Halloween 2011 costume, the Cheshire Cat. My entire costume was based around my makeup, and I scared so many people!

  11. Karen K says:

Ooh! What I really want to know is what the makeup is for your Halloween picture because you look GORG in that! Also the lipstick in the last phone. Sooo pretty! I NEED to know because it will enhance my life. LOL! No really. Loooking good!

  12. Christina Ordonez says:

Ack, what did I do wrong? Why is my brain not cooperating with my hands?! Let me submit again …
It took me an embarrassingly long time to upload and caption, I’m a first time flickr-er. I put all three photos/entries under the same link/account. I don’t know if you required three separate links but I hope I’m saving you on some clicking time.
This is such a delightful concept for a contest.

This was taken at my college’s event. It was my first time riding a “bull!” It was REALLY FUN! I can safely say I stayed up there for pretty long for a first-timer. I don’t think the guy handling the on/off switch was being kind. How could he possibly know it was my first time, right??

This photo reminds me of happy times.! ๐Ÿ™‚

At the SASHA animal sanctuary, hanging out with the coolest mini-mini-horse ever, Tinkerbelle.

I flew halfway around the world to intern at the world-famous advertising festival, where I attended galas, met all kinds of advertisers, and learned!

After 4 (quick) years at the University of Florida. I am proud to say that I survived my time as an undergrad and graduated with honors. I bid farewell to the times as an undergrad, the unforgettable football games, overpriced lemonade, stadium workouts (won’t really miss you so much), and the crazy fans that turned into my good friends. Until next time Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and always, Go Gators!

My sister held her wedding in a winery in Pennsylvania in the middle of December. Once their vows were exchanged, pictures started and we all walked outside and to my excitement, it began to snow. Thrilled beyond belief, I couldn’t help but relish in the fact that snow flakes were falling from the sky. At nineteen years old, it was the first time that I had ever seen snow. With our fathers passing a year before, I would like to think that this is him giving his love to us and that he is definitely here with us in spirit.

My first bite of a German sausage while visiting my sister in Sweden. So, a Swedish, German sausage? Nonetheless, it was very tasty and I probably ruined the yummy creation by drowning it in ketchup and mustard.

Ps-This facial expression reminds me of my favorite Disney movie character from Mulan. “And I’m Chien-po”

  18. Liz K says:

Here I am in the back of the boat (waving at the camera/front of the row) living life vividly! THis was a very twisty turvy ride down a river but so fun!! http://www.flickr.com/photos/79962220@N04/7158754943/

  19. Liz K says:

This is my second entry…me standing on a cliff at the Grand Canyon, living life vividly ๐Ÿ™‚

  20. Liz K says:

    This is my third entry…

Here I am with a couple of friends, on a ride at an amusement park in New Zealand (my best vacation to date). My friend at the bottom of the pic was hamming it up because she knew there was a camera around (I am at the very top of the picture) ๐Ÿ™‚

  21. Nicole says:

This is me on a drive across country and what’s a drive across country without a stop through Yellowstone! It was an extremely hot day and we stopped by a stream to cool off. There’s nothing better than the cool water streaming through your toes when the temps are soaring.

  22. kelly m. says:

Hi Karen, here are my 3 entries.
This is from when I went skydiving. I have always been very afraid of heights, even getting on a step ladder used to scare me. I mentioned skydiving to my father and he decide that I must go to conquer my fear, so we went for his birthday. I really loved it and am not nearly afraid of heights as I used to be. Ladders or tall buildings are nothing compared to falling out of the sky at 13,500 feet. p.s. that is my instructor in the photos not my father.

  23. Jane says:

Entry 2: It’s basically a closeup of Entry 1 but I love how excited and happy I look lol

  24. Whoa Karen, after all these years, my very first entry into MBB.

    Sisterly meet up in Cuba.

My significant other was going through training in Savannah before going to Afghanistan. When I visited him we took the tour of the Sorell Weed house, walked the beautiful streets of Savannah, and of course played putt putt golf. I won!

  27. Sole says:

This past Halloween we all went as witches. At another friends house we set up a large haunted driveway that the kids had to go through to get their candy. One guy even chased them with a fake chain saw. Hilarious!

  28. Sole says:

Two years ago we chartered a small fishing boat and went 20 miles off shore of Grand Isle. The fish weren’t biting at first, but then we started reeling them in. It was a great day.

  29. Joy says:

It may not be what others consider vivid – but it’s wonderful living to me!

  30. Nicole M says:

I love this photo of me LIVIN LARGE with my bff. Do you love our sweet staches?! http://www.flickr.com/photos/80381098@N06/7181877995/in/photostream

I got to visit my guy in England last month – my first international flight alone! – and while there, I was lucky enough to go to the Harry Potter set tour. This is definitely one of my favorite pictures with my [Harry Potter-lookalike] guy ๐Ÿ™‚
