It was my first major surgery so naturally there was a lot of anxiety tied to that, but more than anything I was just ready to do it. I was about 20 - 30 lbs overweight most of my life but during my first marriage I gained like 100 lbs due to some medical problems I was going through. After I lost that weight I settled back into my usual 30 lbs over but honestly, that doesn't even bother me. I'm just happy to be back to myself again. :) I was scared but also really excited. It was my first major surgery so naturally there was a lot of anxiety tied to that, but more than anything I was just ready to do it. I must warn you, though, they are KILLER on your feet. I was practically born in heels and after wearing them for a full day at work, I was wimpering softly as I walked to my car. Unbearable! The heel is deceptively high and after awhile, they really start to hurt your whole foot. (And forget walking on cobblestone streets or uneven asphalt.) They look amazing with dresses and skinny jeans, though!
