Heya, ladies. I hope you had a nice afternoon. Friday’s right around the corner, and unless something totally unexpected happens in the next four hours, it looks like we’re gonna make it! 🙂
Do you have any plans tonight? After I click the ‘publish’ button on this post (some fantastic stuff from my girls in Daily Makeover’s Beauty Bloggerati this week), I’m gonna make my din-din and plop myself down on the couch for a few hours of quality TV me time, yea!
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

I looooved the review of Sedu 4000i Hair Dryer. The photos were awesome and so detailed and so many tips for hair products ( I must try Kerastase Nectar Thermique, I’ve been looking for a product like this for ages). Thanx a lot for the recommendation.

PS: i am leaning more towards a sheer peachy-pink shade. there are so many shades to choose from. i have never been a lipstick person and i am kind of thinking of sticking close to my natural lip color so it’s not so shocking for me. thanks again!

Lalalala-the weekend!!
Me no workey this weekend.
The Arts Festival will be held this weekend in my neighborhood. They have all kinds of neat things to look at and buy, of course, especially beautiful handcrafted jewelry. But rain is expected all weekend 🙁
I do like the purple nail polish from MAC that you showed. Your fave is also my fave. I have a dupe for that polish from ULTA. I love purples and that is why I just love the Mystic Eyes quad that Chanel had in the spring. I wear that with the Leopard lippie that I learned about from you.
Have you seen a purple baked trio from LORAC. It also comes in browns or blacks. That purple trio makes a hot smokey eye. When I wear a purple smokey eye, I cannot do too nude of a lippie because I am too fair. I had seen a photo of the Giorgio Armani fall collection. The model was wearing a purple smokey eye but she had a bold lipcolor on. It did remind me of Leopard.
Hope you have a great weekend and perhaps you could do a little Reiki on Tabs as you and he are watching tv together. Louise

Hi Louise Gray,
I was just thinking of Mystic Eyes yesterday. I popped by the Chanel counter and saw it (without seeing the name), and my first reaction was “OoOH! That’s pretty, I want!” 😀
I hope the rain stays away so that you can enjoy the Arts Festival. Have a good one!

I actually bought the Sedu hair dryer, when my cheap con air, that I have had for years finally cranked out. After doing my research, I am so in love with it. My hair is super thick, it use to take me an hour to straight my wavy hair. Now it takes 30 minutes and it comes out super straight, like leaving the salon. Thanks for shouting out Sedu, for those who don’t know about the product. 😉

Hi Aleia,
My hair is very similar to yours — thick and wavy. Have you tried the Sedu flat iron? It’s so fabulous.
