7 Ways to Win a $50 eGift Card From Sephora! (Ends Monday)

Published in: Giveaways, Just For Fun

Win a $50 Sephora e-gift card from Makeup and Beauty Blog

Rise and shine, morning glory! Guess who actually got some sleep. Yup, yours truly, so I feel about 900 times better today.

It was pouring rain last night, but the sun is out again this morning. It looks like it’s going to be a fantabulous day. I might even have a cup of actual coffee instead of Throat Coat or Theraflu.

Heck, I may even venture outside… Ooh! — dare to dream, LOL! 🙂

In other news, what do you think about this for a side project: a 6-foot-tall wooden kitty condo wrapped in chicken wire for the deck, so that Tabs can chill out for short breaks under the stars (and I don’t have to worry about him running into any hungry coyotes)? I’d need El Hub’s help to cut the wood because I’m not a Miss Power Tools, but what do you think? If you were a tabby…would you like a kitty condo like that?

Must plan…

Good luck in the giveaway. I’ll talk to you soon.

      Hi Agata!

I think so too. He loves spending time outside, but I don’t know if he’ll think it’s too small. I don’t want to make it too big, though, because we don’t have a lot of room.

I’m definitely feeling better, thank you. How are things going with you? What are you up to this weekend?

      • Agata says:

Well, his choice- no outdoor condo or a small one 🙂 I know he has big needs though, lol!

Other than obviously working, I hope to go to the gym and I have to pick up a few props from Hobby Lobby for a blog post/shoot. I am super excited about it! Oh and packing my husband for his trip to Florida- he will be gone all week ;-(

Did I tell you we are going to Vegas in a month? I am so stoked for this! Also getting my hair done and cut next week, super excited for it too!

I could do without Valentine’s Day…I feel like you should appreciate your loved ones all the time.

  3. Holly says:

Oh my word. I have tried to learn to read music & for some reason, it just doesn’t stick! Fortunately, I can learn by ear. I used to sing in a choir & also a smaller ensemble at my previous church & I miss it…singing by myself in the car, while quite entertaining, is not the same as singing with others.

  4. Paula says:

I think the cat condo is brilliant….it would provide some new vantage points, I think!

  5. Remi says:

I would definitely build the kitty condo. Kittens and lounging, y’know? (I like power tools tho)

  6. Alix says:

    Valentine’s Day — meh.

I don’t particularly care about Valentine’s day…I never celebrated it as a child, nor did anyone around me, so I don’t have any real feelings about it. Same goes for Halloween: never celebrated it as a child, so it has no real meaning for me.

As I’m growing older, I’m finding that the holidays that I celebrated as a kid are still the most important ones to me.

  21. Donna Marie says:

my favorite look has been one I only get to do for certain concerts… it uses the heartbreaker sugerpill palette and it’s red, orange, yellow, gold and purple. Pretty wild. lol

  30. Laura says:

    Valentine’s Day thumbs up!

  31. Jennifer Pham says:

I wish I can read music – when I listen to movie themes (for example, How to Train Your Dragon 2 soundtrack – so brilliant) and I feel pumped or sad or touched – I want to be able to play and make music along with the rest of the team.

It would be wonderful to be part of an orchestra for music that moves you!

My favorite look at the moment is bright fuchsia blush, a bit of luminizer on my eyes and cheekbones, black mascara caked onto both my upper and lower lashes (like Twiggy!), and a bit of black/brown brow gel. It sounds clownish, but it’s actually a very fresh, very pretty look (I think, lol). 😀

  36. Ana says:

Current favorite makeup look…a bronzy brown smoky eye with just a delicate veil of shimmer on the lids with thin cat liner and lits of mascara and neutral or dark lips! Bright and neon colors just don’t look that good on me.

  37. Lizzie says:

I used to be able to read music, but not so much anymore unfortunately.

I love Valentine, maybe due tomy birthday is in February. So for me is always thumbs up

  74. Freya says:

I’ve really been loving my Naked on the Run palette. I received it for Christmas but just started using it recently. I used to just buy every new palette that comes out even tho I’m mostly comfortable sticking to a more neural eye look. Occasionally I’ll add a pop of color but I don’t get crazy with color all over my eye. So now I have a bunch of palettes that I’ll barely tuck into bc they’re all bright colors. Oh well! At least now I know only to buy palettes that I’ll actually make use of!

  75. Lulubelle says:

I put a doggy door in using power tools – quite proud of that!

My current favorite makeup look has to be metallic, somewhat glittery eyeshadow with a modern duochrome twist. I am loving all the new shades of these kinds of shadows lately and can’t wait to experiment with them. As for my personal favorite, I love to wear a bold lip with a simple cat eye look.

  97. Sarah says:

I can read music! My mom started me with piano lessons when I was about 4. I wanted to quit many times, but she wouldn’t let me, and now I’m grateful I stuck with it! It’s cool to be able to sit down and play through most any song (although sometimes slowly and badly).

  98. Suzanne C says:

Absolutely no to Valentine’s Day. It just seems like the flower industry, the candy industry, the jewelry industry, Hallmark, and every single restaurant got together and said “What can we use as an excuse to make people spend yet more money they don’t have?”

  99. Michaela says:

  105. Miki says:

Computer program, heck no! Not my forte.
Read music … so that means music notes? No. I used to be able to.
I’m happily married, and have had a great dating life. I ain’t got no issues with Valentines. What’s not to love about love! If you don’t have a significant other, go celebrate the love of friends or family with them!
I have built pre-made furniture with power tools, but that’s about it.
I am enjoying the more natural look that’s in style now. I still do HAC, but I’m keeping my eyes simple. But I am loving dark lipsticks, which is totally a first for me! 😀
I am building up the courage for a new, very tough job.

We had a cat run at our first rental, and our kitty loved it! Since then we’ve had 6ft fences at all our rentals, so we’ve just let him roam around the yard. 131. Tracy Robertson says:

I will try most any color of eye shadow, but that red shadow that was trending a year or two back looked horrible on everyone, in my opinion. I couldn’t believe how many people wore it just because it was trending. I bet they are glad that is over!

  132. Gina Bullard says:

  156. dyan says:

I wish I could read music and sing. I took viola lessons for a few months in the 4th grade, but I sucked at it and quit. I used to write lyrics and envied anyone who could sing and put music together.

  157. Amoure says:

Definitely a thumbs up for Valentine’s day. It’s one of my favorite of all the holidays. To some it’s super commercial and they say you should show people love all the time. But it’s not every day you can show someone special just how you feel and Valentine’s day allows you to do that. Whether it’s your family, friends or yourself.

  158. Chelsea B says:

I cannot read music, but I wish that I could!

They jacked the prices up almost 50%!

  261. Manale says:
