I don’t watch many award shows (I’ll usually opt to read the post-show punditry the following day), but I am looking forward to the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday. Actually, I guess you could say I’m filled with glee.
I was STOKED to see that actress Lea Michele (born Lea Michele Sarfati on August 29, 1986), who plays the overachieving, annoyingly lovable songstress Rachel Berry on Glee, is up for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
But she’s up against stiff (not in the comedic way, of course) comic competition from Julie Louis-Dreyfus and Tina Fey, among others.
Does she have a legitimate shot? I hope so (wishing her luck!).
