Writing notes is a great idea. I tend to ask a lot of questions on how they are using the products. Thankfully, I have had nice hair dressers who have been willing to tell me what it is going on.Now that I am back in the area, I need a new hair dresser. Best hair tip ever: I wrap my hair at night.

There are a lot of good tutorial videos on youtube. Just search hair wrap at night. I wake up in the morning, and it’s totally smooth and silky…flat ironed silky. Best of all, I’ve noticed that my ends don’t get frizzy and in need of a trim as quickly. I’ll spray on some Aphogee Keratin spray before I wrap and then put some bobby pins to hold the hair in place. Then on goes my satin scarf. Sure, you’ll look like Aunt Jemima, but your hair will be on point the next morning.

I must be different from everybody else. I hate to go to a salon. I never like what they do and the way they style my hair, I always think they do a terrible job. If I go to a salon, when I get out, I always look at the ground so that no one looks at me because I think I look terrible. First thing I do when I get home is to step into the shower and wash my hair. I spent many years without going to a salon for a hair cut. I ask my mother to cut my hair. A few months ago I went to a salon for a hair cut and regret it all over again. One week later I had my mother cutting it because I was hating the whole hair style

Uhm, I hope you won´t hate me after what I say, BUT…
I have never ever had any problems with my hair. They are naturally wavy so when I want waves, I just let my hair dry on their own (which is a pain actually, it takes at least four or five hours), when I want something more straight and smooth, I use a hairdryer. I even do not have to use any styling products, my hair just hold the way they dried.
Well, I had a very short haircut for years but I returned to a long one a year and a half ago. Yay! And I really enjoy it every single day
One last thing (and then you can hate me, I promise) – I go to a hairdresser´s twice a year just to cut my ends, my hair do not need any extra styling or cutting at all.

I suck at keeping my salon style. Certainly here in Sweden where I don't even have a blow-dryer. I usually just loosely dry my hair with a blow-dryer and focus a bit more at the part that keeps on curling (I have like one little curl right at the front of my hair, the rest is pretty straight... it's so odd)Karen B´s last blog post..a thought
