Every time a new pic for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I surfaces on the interwebz I squeal with fan-girl delight! I’ve been counting down the days till the November 19 release, daydreaming about Harry’s return (and his friends, of course).
Actor Daniel Radcliffe was a lad of 12 when 2001’s Philosopher’s Stone premiered; now he’s a 21-year-old man. Watching the characters and the actors who’ve played them evolve and mature over the past decade has been one of my favorite things about the series.
Not surprisingly, Daniel long ago ditched the bowl cut he made famous in the first film. Of his different looks (some are just subtly different), I’m definitely partial to No. 9.

i like #6 & #9 although I’m partial to #6… even though he looks like he could use a shower.
Rinnie says
7 and 9 were my favs in this, but ultimately chose 9 because it had more effort put into to, where as 7 was like he ran his hands thru his hair and that was it. Twilight series can suck it when it comes to teen novels compared to this, and I will always call him “Cedric Diggory” and not “Edward Cullen”.
Elaine says
daniel radcliffe isn’t edward cullen…. robert pattinson is!
Rinnie says
I know, I meant that Robert Patttinson was way better as Cedric in the Harry Potter series than as whiny, shiny Edward; he showed more range as a dead character than as virgin vampire.
Kypris says
I like an intense guy… he looks intense in #9 😉 and to be honest, he just looks too young in all the other ones…
Trisha says
Whoa! Look at him in number 9! Sexy, much? Holy moly, DanRad is hot. Who knew?
Melissa says
he does look sexy! i was waiting for someone else to say it first…hehee..
Instant Karma (formerly L) says
OH MY GOD, I thought the exact same thing, and I felt so freaking dirty.
Ladycinna says
He looks much more adult in #9. He looks like jailbait in all the rest.
Nina says
Loved 1 & 9 but voted for 1… so grownup! :X
Rachael says
I gotta love a guy with spikey hair! Plus he’s my age too, which makes it all the more fun ha. 🙂
Melissa W. says
Man. This kid just isn’t aging well.
BB says
I think it’s the Sorcerer’s Stone, Karen 😉
Karen says
Hi, BB. It’s both. It was released first in London as the Philosopher’s Stone and then here in the U.S. as the Sorcerer’s Stone (as you can tell I’m a big fan, LOL!).
