** THE GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED **
This giveaway is closed, and the winner has been contacted (CONGRATULATIONS, KRISTEN!!!), but check back next Saturday for another giveaway.
I cannot believe it’s Easter weekend! I swear, I remember driving around to look at Christmas lights. Seems like that was just a couple weeks ago…
Rise and shine, morning glory! Despite my unreadiness for it, it is almost Easter. Are you going to church? Brunch? Are there mimosas in your future? Inquiring minds want to know.
Since this is Excitement Central over here, I’ll be spending Easter with a baby and a breast pump and my butt glued in a Pier One floral-printed chair (which Tabs mistakenly claims as his own) while re-watching Dawson’s Creek on Hulu.
Yup, it’s a thrill a minute!
Have a wonderful holiday, my friend. Good luck in the Easter egg hunt, and please save me a few jellybeans. 🙂

Top thing to do this spring — waxing.
We took in a newborn at the end of January and there is no time for shaving. 😀
Laurinha says
Hi Karen and close family! And all MBB family
Happy Easter!
Allison says
Carefree makeup means glitter eyeliner whenever I feel like it, and who cares if people think it’s over the top for a random Saturday evening.
HeraKitty says
Carefree- hmmm… Panty liners? ?
Top thing to do this spring is to obedience train a 4 month old male Spaniel puppy that I adopted from the SFSPCA. Woof!
Speaking of spring and babies, I am a spring baby! Tomorrow is my birthday! I almost always have my birthday fall on Holy Week/ Easter. Good times. Happy Easter weekend, Ms Karen and family! XO
Priscilla says
I’ve never shattered a blush palette but did shatter much of my favorite LORAC pro eyeshadow palette. So sad. The question becomes, do I replace it or explore the many other palettes that I’ve had my eye on? Decisions, decisions.
Chelsea says
Happy Easter! Quincy’s all ready for his very important day. He sends bunny kisses to you, Connor Claire, and Tabs 🙂
Jana says

Alicee says
I’m so excited because this is my first weekend off in three months so I feel like the possibilities are endless! I’m going to paint my nails, maybe B2M for a lipstick, watch some Hulu, eat lots of Easter candy!
Cindy says
Yes I repeatedly manage to drop and shatter my favorite blush, Clinique Fresh Bloom all over face color in Peony blend. Originally it was just Peony but they changed it to the blend because it was so breakable. I manage to always break the blend too. The sculptionary Defining Roses are the same colors but I still prefer the original Peony . . . I’ve been using this for years and it’s my favorite default blush for red lipstick. I think the only place to get it online now is Saks, most stores don’t carry it. I hope they don’t discontinue it for good!!
Meg says
Happy Easter Karen! And shoutout to the MBB interns holding it down. they’re doing a great job ?
Lindsey says
I’ve only been to student art exhibits, but I enjoy them! My little sister is into art, so she gets her work put in shows a lot
Lily ChloeAsh says
It’s been an awful 2 weeks. The heat wave were experiencing here in Malaysia has not been fun. The temperature soared to 39°C today but the humidity level is more than 100%. Felt like suffocating. Good thing we get fresh coconuts everywhere and that’s how we stay hydrated. And we try to stay indoors with air con at full blast to keep cool.
My 15 month old isn’t liking it but his 2 older sisters are good at playing with him. Hope you’re enjoying your time as a new mom. Babies grow up so quickly, don’t blink. Lol lol!
Sarah says
Carefree makeup is bronzer!
ann b says
My husband’s an artist so I go to tons of art exhibits.

I LOVE the colors in the pallet that you posted for this. Cool colors!!
Teresa Luong says
Never shattered any makeup but I have dinged and marred the surfaces of lots of bronzes, blushes, highlighters siiiigh.
Rachel R. says
Happy Easter! We’re not doing much, as our younger son is still pretty sick (improving, though!). I haven’t even done my shopping yet. Hubby and I will do that today. Sick kid’s bday is the 31st, so I don’t know how that’s going to go, either.
Lucinda Robinson says
I loved the post where you shared the inspiration for your daughter’s name. That’s so sweet.
Destinations weddings are a regular occurrence where I live (Barbados) and I’m totally nipping across to another Caribbean country to have mine 🙂
Karleena says
Thankfully I’ve never shattered any palettes *keeps fingers crossed*
Megan says
Happy Easter! I’ve been thinking about weddings a lot lately, and I’m very much pro-destination wedding! I’ve got a very small family, and I would love to treat them to a nice vacation. In the end, it’s going to cost me less than a “traditional” wedding, and I know my family would just love it.
Jennifer Pham says
Hmmm “Carefree” makeup to me is something like: dewy complexion, rosy blush, mascara with no eyeshadow, and a glossy, sheer pop of color on lips.
jeanie says
happy easter everyone!! hope it is beautiful weather all around 🙂
Tiffany says
I got 2 Rouge Coco stylos and they’re glossy and very pigmented! I just wished that they were more moisturizing.
Christine says
Top of my list to do this spring: recover from this 2-week flu!

Mary W says
Happy baby days to you! All I remember is being tired for years. Now with Grands, I get exhausted every time I am with them. It’s easy to forget how demanding it is to be a parent 24/7.

jules m. says

Michelle says
I think I may have royalty as my mom’s side is from samurai!
Heather L says
I’m pursuing a B.A. in Art History, so I frequently go to art exhibits (and usually write reports on them!) This month I went to the exhibit “Marcel Broodthaers: A Retrospective” at the MoMA in New York. I followed up with a research paper on it!
Royalty in my family – I don’t know of any other than the fact that my cat thinks he’s descended from the royal Egyptian line of cats, and expects to be treated like a monarch…!
I love destination weddings. I’m engaged and planning a destination wedding in one of my favorite locations: Atlantic City! I think getting married in a favorite place is a very positively charged way to start your life together, and getting away from the tedium of home makes it even more special.
I’ve never busted a blush, but I did drop my Champagne Pop highlighter. It’s cracked now, but I can still use it, I also dropped a Shu Uemura Shupette 3-shade eye palette, and I had to put the shadows back in place. The Shupette LE products are some of my favorites in my collection, so I was relieved to repair this, although it’s not in the same condition it was.
Things I want to accomplish for Spring: finishing Spring semester in college, completely overhauling my beauty blog with Adobe Muse, dusting off my high end camera, and getting back into posting (I will have more time when the semester ends, and there have been so many great products coming out I can’t wait to review them!), getting my hands on the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette (sold out right now!!!), and taking at least a few days “off” after full-time school, 2 paid jobs, and 2 volunteer jobs that I’ve been doing simultaneously each semester! I’d like to do some more travel too… but I might have to wait until summer. We go to Atlantic City every July 4th week – if I can at least do that again I’ll be happy!
Nika says
Happy Easter Karen and MBB interns!
Aviva says
I love seeing photos of the baby! Keep them coming please 🙂
andrea says
Have I ever shattered a blush palette? Unfortunately, I dropped mine in the bathroom last week and it shattered EVERYWHERE! I was very sad as it was Dior and wasn’t cheap 🙁
Stephanie Barrett says
Happy easter!
Debora Covasa says
I have only one thing to do this spring: get a job!
BJW says
I went to a destination wedding over a year ago. It was in the Caribbean. It took three flights to get to the island (with two long layovers), so that was a real pain, but the wedding was on the beach, and everyone in the wedding (party plus guests) had to go from one island to the other (the one with the beach) on a sailboat. So, that was really nice. I don’t think I would want to make a habit of going to destination weddings, but it was nice to do one.
Aurelie Red says
I love Easter weekend !
I don’t have royal blood in my family !
(and I think royalty is so ridiculous in 2016…)

I am actually the direct descendant of Scottish royalty – my 18th grandfather was King of Scotland and 10 grandfathers before him. So I consider myself a Scottish princess!
Jean says
Happy Easter! When will you start writing reviews again?
Jean says
Oh and I’d like to say I have no royal lineage but I like to pretend I’m a descendant of Lapu Lapu. I would be proud to be a descendant of the one who beat the Magellan and the Spaniards. Lol
Jean says
“Magellan” not “the Magellan”. Ugh I’ll shut up now.
Jean says
I said I’d shut up but I just had to say I had a friend who has lineage to a Greek King and a friend whose grandfather claims they were part of the royal family in China. OK I’m done 🙂

We’re not doing anything for Easter, maybe if Colin gets interested next year we will. I’m trying to nurse the 3 month old into a coma so he’ll take the bottle currently. Low supply (I only produce about 15oz a day), nipple confusion and bottle refusal is a dang awful combo. Le sigh.

Happy Easter!
Sanam says
I’ve been to fashion exhibits in art museums if that counts ?
TrippyPixie says
I think destination weddings work if the couple is planning on having a small, intimate wedding anyway. It can be really expensive and inconvenient for guests if they have to pay their own way, so having a large guest list under those circumstances isn’t entirely realistic/practical.
Aury says
I’ve only ever shattered a compact foundation and a single eyeshadow after I dropped a shadow palette.
Tina says
Your precious Connor Claire is BEAUTIFUL!
Laura says
At the top of my things to do this spring list, is to get pregnant with my first child 🙂

Of course I need to clean this spring but I am exhausted! Damn “spring forward” ruins my body. I don’t think I could ever handle having a newborn!
Michelle says
Hi everyone on MBB! Been lovin all the cool blog posts from various writers! Definitely love the flavor of everyone’s loves, lives, and make up reviews. When I think of care free makeup I always think about bare minimum make up, after all, it’s care free. For me, that means no contacts, glasses, some concealer, mascara, or a tight line, some bronzer and out the door I go!
Happy Easter everyone!
Justine says
“Hoppy” Easter to all!
Andrea says
Hoppy Easter 🙂

Victoria says
I definitely would love to plant more flowers this spring. Happy Easter!
AmyBS says
I think a wedding reception is meant to be a thank you to your guests for attending your ceremony, and a destination can put a hardship on a lot of people. Travel us what the honeymoon is for!
Andrea Vecchione says
I didn’t break the Pixi blush itself, but the case broke. So, I smashed it up and put it into one of those little containers you can get from Sephora with a sifter and it works fine.
Ashleigh says
I’m all for destination weddings, I think the couple should celebrate their love however they want, and I definitely see the appeal in doing it in a setting which will create that exciting atmosphere for their special day. That being said, if you really want your dear Grandmamma to come and she won’t be able to afford it, politely offering to help with accommodations for your wedding party and close family is considerate!
Sarah Sq. says
I need to get outside more this Spring.
Lori P says
I love Spring but my allergies don’t *achoo!*
latanya says
no royalty in my family

I’ve shattered a few blush palettes when I use to carry them in my purse, so I gave that up. I put on my one application and leave the palette at home now.

Karen, wishing you and your sweet family a glorious Easter. {{{hugs}}}
Here in Grand Rapids MI we have what is called Art Prize. It is fantastic and people come from all over the world to exhibit AND to view and vote. The winner wins a nice check. All mediums are presented. I hope you and your readers will google it as it is really worth checking out. It takes a couple of days to really see everything and I always find out I did not get to see several things. So much fun and if you listen carefully you can hear many different languages being spoken. It is usually held over a couple of weeks in the fall.
Maria K says
Hope it’s going well Karen! your little bundle of joy is the cutest, and you seem to be glowing more than ever 🙂
Hillary says
Happy Easter! The top of my to do list for this Spring is cleaning out closets and drawers! I’ve hit that point again where I can no longer get anything in my drawers. This makes doing laundry even more fun!
Kathy says
I’ve never shattered a blush palette and I hope I never will!
Kirsten says
Have you ever been to an art exhibit? Do museums count? If so, then quite a few.
Do you know if you have any royalty in your family? I don’t think so.
When you think of the word “carefree,” what makeup comes to mind? BB cream? I don’t know.
How do you feel about destination weddings? Good if you want to elope, bad if you want friends/family to join you.
Have you ever shattered a blush palette? I don’t own a blush palette. *^_^*
What’s at the top of your list of “Things to Do This Spring”? Find a job.
Terri says
I hope you, Connor Clair, El Hubs, and Tabs are doing well!
I’ve been to several art exhibits (most of them were for my students).

When I think of carefree makeup, I think of long-lasting products that will stay on through thick and thin. Incidentally, my top thing to do this spring is go to Coachella, so I’m definitely on the hunt for must-have beauty products that can outlast tons of sunshine and a little sweat. Happy Easter everyone!
Marta says

JP says
i like this palette!i hope i win so i can try a new palette!:)
Kris says
A carefree day is having time to tune into one of the online cameras at a great horned owl nest. Two chicks hatched and are growing so fast. The other day I watched as the daddy owl brought a snake (dead) to the nest for a family meal. At that exact moment a squirrel started hopping from branch to branch. Fortunately the Owls were content to fill up on the snake. Google Savannah great horned owl cam if you’re interested.
maria says
Happy Easter!!! Love long weekends!
Jordi says
Isn’t there a community near Phoenix called Carefree? I don’t think that any community where venomous snakes live nearby can truly be free of cares!
MelodyJ says
I can’t believe March is almost over.
Tania G says
Hope you have a nice Easter weekend!
BB says
I’ve never even had a blush palette!
Deb says
Carefree makeup for me is my bare minimum, fits in a purse makeup bag daytime look that I can apply on the go. Very minimal so there’s no thought in putting together a look.
Christine says
Howdy! Your Easter sounds pretty nifty. I could stay home and watch lots of reruns of Flip or Flop and Fixer Upper, and I’d be super happy! Enjoy your exciting Easter! ♥
Kecia S. says
Happy Saturday, Karen & Connor Claire! I spent the day introducing a friend to the fun that is the Nordstrom Beauty Trend Show. We had so much fun that she’s looking forward to the fall show.
CL says
I hate the idea of “destination weddings.” Most middle-class people can’t just up and go to Hawaii, or Europe, or Cancun to attend a wedding. I also think that spending a bundle and throwing the party to end all parties for a wedding is a bad idea, as it reinforces the idea that marriage should be vastly and permanently entertaining, which is totally unrealistic.
kristen says
On top of my to-do list for spring is to play some veggies!
Anissa says
I studied art at school so yeah I went to a lot of art exhibits, including mine. The good thing about art expositions is the free booze and how drunk all these artsy fartsy hippy people get during the evening
Susan T. (@suekitty13) says
My family has been really into tracing our ancestry and we’ve connected with distant family members who have traced our family back to the Viking king Ragnar Lothbrok. I haven’t watched “The Vikings” on TV but I hear he kind of kicks butt and the actor playing him is pretty easy on the eyes. 🙂 He does seem like more of a mythical figure and this was over 1000 years ago so I’m not entirely convinced of our relation but it figures that an angry Viking is my most famous ancestor!
Natasha ormanian says
Mrs.Easter Bunny is making goodies, Happy Easter!
Kelsey says
Those sound like excellent Easter plans. 😀
And actually yes, I do have royalty in my family! One of my ancestors was the king of Maui, until he was defeated by Kamehameha I.

I’m ready for a change!

I go to tons of art exhibits because I have a lot of artist friends. Big or small, it’s always nice to see creative minds at work. Congrats on Baby Girl!
Colleen P. says
Thing to do this spring: start an exercise program. I’m hoping the nicer weather and change in schedule will make me more motivated.
Bridget says
OMG, rewatching Dawson’s Creek here with my three-month old boy too! He doesn’t seem to mind it, though we both agree the replaced theme song has nothing on the formerly dramatic opening of “I DON’T WANNA WAIT…”
Sigh. That soundtrack though…it makes me feel so old!
Margaret Ludwig says
Happy Easter. I love the colors in those tarte pallets
Christina says
Reorganizing my closet is at the top of my list of “Things to Do This Spring”.
Elisa Panjang says
Happy Easter Day! I love arts very much and yes I’ve went to several art exhibitions. I love to view the wonderful paintings.
Rose says
I really wanna visit the Broad museum in LA! They have that infinity room where it’s a ton of tiny lights and mirrors. Sucky thing is you only get like 45 seconds to take a quick snap lol!
nina says
When I think of carefree makeup I think of doing whatever makeup you like. Throwing “rules” to the wind.
Becky says
Happy Easter, Karen! Enjoy your lovely baby time! If I think of carefree makeup I think of a slick of bright gloss, a subtle rosy flush on the cheeks and bare lids with a swipe of mascara on the lashes. Not fussy, nothing difficult, just a beautiful “you on a really good day”!
CaReese says
I think destination weddings are awesome. Such a great way to create amazing memories of your wedding. And it keeps nosey/critical spectators to a minimum! Serisously considering a destination wedding.
Jill says
I’m an artist – so I’ve been to many, many exhibits…even some that were my own!
So glad to see and baby are doing well Karen 🙂
NFJ says

Happy Easter! Obviously Easter isn’t celebrated in Japan, but we still put together a delicious Easter breakfast and got our chocolate fix – albeit not in the shape of Easter eggs – so it’s all good!
Caitlin says
Happy Easter y’all. I think Destination Weddings are overrated, and should only be considered if you know damn well everybody you plan on inviting can reasonably afford to come or you’re going to pay for EVERYTHING.
As for carefree makeup… Honestly, makeup is so much work nothing about it seems “carefree” to me but if I had to choose I’d go for the clown look. Nothing says “I don’t give a f***” like covering your face in bright grease paint.
Tisha says
On the top of my to-do list would be to go down Sunset Blvd and visit Whiskey A Go Go… Is that a Spring-y thing to do? It definitely is something I want to do in the near future, seasons notwithstanding.
Maren says
“Carefree” makes me think of wearing no makeup, probably for someone who feels naturally pretty all the time. Not into it! ?
Donna W says
I love the idea of a destination wedding. I’m all for it with my children if that is what they want.
Aenea says
I went to a destination wedding last year for one of my brothers’. It was so nice! But very tiring, not to mention costly too. Now my other brother is having another destination wedding, which is tiring me already just thinking about it!

Happy Easter!
Christy Peeples DuBois says
I received an invitation a few years back to an art exhibit being displayed at one of our local banks. This is out of the norm for our area therefore after inquiring about it I did go and as I’m looking through the artwork my oldest daughter had a painting she did in the exhibit. I knew both of my daughters were artistic but I was completely in awe of her painting because it was gorgeous. I hope you and Connor Claire and daddy and Tabs have a great Easter.
Carolina says

At the top of my Spring to do list is decluttering, and I’m doing pretty well so far, but it seems like a never ending process sometimes.
Nina says
I don’t think there is any royalty in my family blood lines….but I don’t mind taking a DNA test just to satisfy my curiosity !
Nicole says
This spring I REALLY need to get back to the gym…
Michelle ComesLast says
Have you ever been to an art exhibit? Yes, Native American quilt exhibit. It was awesome. It is more fun if it is a topic you are intersted in.
Do you know if you have any royalty in your family? I don’t think he was royalty, but apparently he was high ranking in the English Navy. The French officer that married into the tribe was only a lieutenant.
How do you feel about destination weddings? Pretentious. Like everyone has the time and money to just run our of town. It’s hard enough to get folks to a wedding. I would rather donate the money to charity.
Have you ever shattered a blush palette? I shattered an eye shadow one once. And I was overseas, so there was no replacing that.
What’s at the top of your list of “Things to Do This Spring”? Get back on top of studying my Hebrew. I am going over class 1 and saving up for class 2. A lot of verbs to go over, lol!

Erin says
Have you ever been to an art exhibit?
Many times!
Do you know if you have any royalty in your family?
Yes and Yes.
When you think of the word “carefree,” what makeup comes to mind?
Something colorful and not precise.
How do you feel about destination weddings?
I’d love to have one and have everyone be able to afford to come but I think that it’s a little hard to ask most people for time off and money to go somewhere.
Have you ever shattered a blush palette?
Blush palette, no. Plenty of foundation and eyeshadow palettes though.
What’s at the top of your list of “Things to Do This Spring”?
Get a freakin’ hair cut!

When I think of carefree makeup I picture natural beachy makeup. Tinted moisturizer, a cream highlight, subtle peach blush, mascara and strong brows. Dab a little chapstick and I’m good to go! 🙂
Domi says
For me a carefree makeup product is a product I don’t have to worry about. A product that doesn’t fade, disappear, change colour or need any kind of maintenence. Preferably a tinted moisturiser that doesn’t let you down or a completely smudge-free mascara,
Fran says
At the very top of my list of things to do this spring is ‘go back to school and get my esthetician’s license’, and school starts in nine days!!!!! Trying to get some re-organization done around here before it starts, but just learning to get up super-early in order to be able to take the train into the city is quite a challenge, lol!
Deb Bigattini says

I’ve been to a couple of art exhibitions and a friend will have an exhibition in the beginning of the month. I can’t wait for it!
Brian says
When I think of “carefree”, I envision a fresh makeup look consisting of dewy finished skin, mascara, neutral shimmering eyeshadow, a natural pink flush to the cheeks, and tinted lip balm.
Lauren says
Happy Easter! You did way more than I did today!
No royals in my family, but I have seen 4 royals in the past 5 months…I don’t know if I can name drop though!
I’ve shattered many makeup items. In grade 7, my parents re tiled the bathroom floor after saving for a year. I was told to never, EVER do my nails in the bathroom in case of a spill. Well…I just had to do the brightest red the day after the white tiles were installed, shattered the whole bottle, then dumped acetone on it to clean it…I’m now 37 and still grounded! 😀
Deb says
On the top of my to-do-list for this Spring is sewing a vintage dress, ’50’s style!
Lisa says
Happy Easter to Tabs and family!
Irene says
I shattered my very first pressed powder blush actually! I kept it for years before I found a suitable color to replace it, it just became a loose powder blush!
Once I came home and my kitty greeted me at the door per usual, and I noticed she was red all over like she was laying in a pile of new bricks. Later I discovered the mess she made in the bathroom. Apparently she jumped up on my vanity, and decided there wasn’t enough room for both her and my makeup bag, and knocked everything off! I’m assuming she then took a nap in the mess, because a broken pan of bronzer was all over the floor and her fur.
Nlm8 says
Things to do this spring: plant a lemon tree, use pastel eyeshadow, try more DIY face and hair masks, sign up for a half marathon.
Nicole says
I haven’t shattered a blush palette. I’m pretty good at keeping all my makeup intact actually. The only thing that shattered on me though was my MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle. And what a sad day that was.. 🙁
Solangel Polonio says

Happy Easter! I actually am kind of related to royalty… my mother’s side of the family was royal in the Song Dynasty, but most records were destroyed during the cultural revolution.
Melinda says
When I think of the word carefree I think of convertibles and my hair in the wind ?
Lynn T. says
All my blushes always shatter, i always drop them. So i use cream blush now, which isn’t always ideal. And that whole hack about using lotion or something to put powders back together doesn’t really work, it’s a real mess actually and product does not work as nice after.
em says
i’ve been to a few art exhibits, can’t afford any but it’s always awe-spiring to see
Jamie says
Looking forward to the Walking Dead tonight as it looks like it’s gonna be a good one!
Patti Patoots says
Did you know there is a Van Gogh exhibit currently at the Chicago Art Institute? It is on my list of things to do (It is there only until May 10th). While it includes 36 works of his, the focus is on his bedroom paintings. There are 3 paintings of his same bedroom that he did at different times. At first they look identical, but there are differences and I guess you can sort of get an idea of his state of mind while painting each one. I haven’t been to the Art Institute in years, so I think this exhibit is a good excuse to to. Happy Easter!

Top of my spring to-do list: make some honest efforts to be more social. I’m a big homebody, and I’d like learn to go out and be with my friends more. They’re awesome people, so they definitely deserve time, effort, and lots of love!

Happy Easter! We attended 3 different parties in a space of 24 hours – tagging along our kids – all 5 of them under the age of 10. ??
Paula says
Hey y’all hope everyone had a great Easter! Mine was pretty funny in a me kind of way! Just for a little background info (that you so need to understand this mistake!) I am very very outspoken and really have a problem in the filter dept. Now I am 49 & my little brother is 46 so it’s not like he doesn’t know all of that! No surprise, Right? Wrong! Being a good little brother he calls me to wish me a Happy Easter, but unknown to me he thinks it would be a great idea to have a conference call with not only his wife and him but also my cousin-who I am not particularly fond of! Yepper, Pretty Idiotic!! So after he wishes me a happy Easter I start by saying that the pic that he posted on FB looked wonderful and then proceeded to say did you see (insert cousins name) pic?? OMG-I am so glad that we ended up on the good side of that gene pool because that whole family hit every branch of the ugly tree & some of them went back a few times!! Yes-I know I am mean and horrible! When I was all done with that I hear “Happy Easter to you to Cuz!!” Oh Yeah-the horror & shock!! Needless to say I started stammering and trying to get out of it. I am pretty sure she won’t be speaking with me anytime soon! But on the bright side I can pretty much guarantee that I will never be put on a conference call as a surprise anymore!! I know it was totally wrong of me and I really am ashamed of myself but even though it puts me in a bad light please don’t hate me!

I have an annual membership to our local art museum, and so I visit quite often. This spring I’ll be going to my first destination wedding. I haven’t really made up my mind about them yet (if I were spending that much money to go somewhere, I’d choose to go somewhere else), but it is a wedding, and with a group of lovely people, so I’m looking forward to it!

My big holiday plans involved supervising my neighbor’s Siamese cat. While she visited her boyfriend in Utah, Handsome Kitty and I snuggled on the couch and marathon binged Law and Order: SVU. Then I attacked the clogged shower head with CLR. We know how to party here.
I did eat about a bucket of chocolate though, because, you know, Easter.;-)
