Oh, hell yeah, I’d wear ’em, even though that heel is straight-up CRAY (it’s 5-1/2″ with a 1-1/2″ platform). I’d be so tall in these… It would be GLORIOUS!!
I’d have to keep them strictly as house-to-the-restaurant-and-back shoes, though. Things like that. Definitely NO stairs or everyday errands. I can’t imagine ever actually driving in these…
They’re the Jillyy Platform Sandals by Steve Madden, by the way ($149).

P.S. TGIF! 🙂

I would 100% wear these shoes! I work for Steve Madden myself and I have to say, it’s hard to say no to their shoes once you get your first pair! These are something else! 🙂
Vijaya says
Not my style! Lately I’m not so into Steve Madden’s stuff!
denise S says
These shoes look like a accident waiting to happen! Lol I’m scared of heights, these look like a broken ankle to me.
Icequeen81 says
I like the platform but not the design
Kwmechelle says
Nope. Not my style. I am an adventurous sort, though. Platforms used to be my jam back in the day. I’d walk all the way across campus in the cutest most uncomfortable shoes ever. Lol. Memories….. But I do think they’re cute- sans the glitter bomb on the bottom 🙂
LindaLibraLoca says
I can no longer walk in heels, let alone sky-scraper platform heels!
Allison C says
Nope, not for me, but they are cool almost as pieces of art!
Andee Hernandez says
The patriotic plats- no. Too dollar ballerina looking!
I like the other pair more!!
Joan B. in S. C. says
Would I? YES! Could I? Probably not. I have to drive everywhere so they would cause problems. Unless of course I wear my sneaks on the way and change before I get out. That’s why I voted with Maybe.
gio says
Nope, they are not my style. That’s fortunate, because I’d probably break a leg if I tried to walk in them! lol.
Lulle says
Definitely not. I have yet to see someone who can walk gracefully in platform shoes, and I’m not exception…
Kelly B. says
I would SO totally wear these! And if I didn’t have an outfit to match, these are the kind of shoes I would go buy a new outfit for 😀
Chelsea says
Yup, absolutely!
Renee says
Ha! Did you know that today is National Short Girl Appreciation Day? No joke. Ironic that you posted those heels lol. I love them from an art/couture aspect but my not so graceful self would probably end up with an injury if I wore them.
Rachel R. says
If my back could handle that high of a heel, I totally would. It’s gorgeous!
Kat says
i would definitely fall down in those shoes! But they are gorgeous.
Mandy says
We call those type of shoes ‘car to bar’ shoes! Gorgeous, but only for short distances!
Jules says
Nope! I unfortunately have bad feet (fallen arches, bilateral plantar fasciitis and overpronation – basically, my ankles roll too much inwards when I step, causing all my body weight to be taken by my arch, and THEN the fasciia on my feet are too short and protest and it is NOT FUN) and would most likely severely injure myself.
Kiss & Make-up says
I voted no. I like the colors and the shape, but the heel and platform are a bit *too* high and stipper-y for me.
Melissa says
My 19 year old self would have totally worn those back in the day to the clubs. Hey, it was the 90’s! Fast forward to today- my 38 year old self knows better. No way! My bad knee couldn’t take it, lol.
zVintageFashionizta says
Since my teens my style has always been very eclectic but no matter what decade it is these shoes would never appeal to me…. they are tacky; I would not wear them even if a gun was pointed at my head.
Hmmm, maybe I’d wear them for Halloween if I was going as a character of the play Hair, Kinky Boots, prostitute or drag queen.
Ms. Heathen says
If I were younger and more coordinated, I would wear those shoes everywhere. Unfortunately these days I can’t do platforms, though I love that thick chunky heel and wish more shoes had heels like that. The 90s was all about round toes and thick heels, I keep waiting for that style to come back and stay.
Karen says
I remember those ’90 shoes! I rocked them hard back in the day. 🙂

20 years ago = SURE THING
NOw? uh… I like to think I still can but I really threw in the towel on this high a heel about 2 years ago.
