Sunshine tested, pool approved. Neutrogena’s nine glistening MoistureShine Lip Soothers are some of my favorite glosses to bring to the pool (or the beach!).
Each lightly tinted tube contains a super moisturizing, minty formula with SPF 20 and soothing cucumber, chamomile and glycerin. The lovely, light cooling sensation also feels fantastic on my lips when it’s hot outside.
Best part yet? For only $5 each (or thereabouts), I don’t have to trip if I lose my tube at the beach…
…or the pool, whichever the case may be. 🙂
Here’s a close look at all nine lip soothing, high-gloss shades…

I love these! Been using them forever.
Karen says
Hi Amiee,
Yeah, they’re awesome! 🙂 Do you use any other Neutrogena makeup?
Amiee says
I don’t really. I like their sunscreens and lip glosses but their other make-up doesn’t really do it for me.
Ami says
I have one, it tastes kinda funny but it looks great and lasts a while!
Karen says
Hi Ami,
Which one do you have? I like them all, but I love Glaze the most.
Jess says
Hmm was kinda hoping Sheen and Glaze would be more red outside of the tube. Swatches seem much more pink. How do they look on the lips?
Karen says
Hi Jess,
They’re both fairly sheer, but that’s what I like about them. Here’s a pic of Glaze in action (fifth pic down), which adds a reddish pink tint:

I am always on the hunt for lightly tinted, highly moisturizing lip balms/glosses! The last one I got was the Carmex tinted lip balms and i think those have spf15. Ill have to try this out!
Bun Bun Makeup Tips says
They look really delicious too! Especially Sheen and Glaze! Like some artsy cherry gravy you see on french cuisine. 🙂
Jessica says
Sheen and Glaze look so squishy!

I really wish Neutrogena would sell their makeup in Canada! We get their skincare, but not the makeup for some reason. I’m kind of hoping that when Target sets up shop here next year, they’ll finally sell it here. I think it would be a big hit since the makeup has high SPF in it.

Oh my goodness, can I tack a huge +1 onto this, Tracy? Neutrogena was one of the first drugstore lines to pique my curiosity (damn you, internet!), and to this day, I *still* haven’t tried anything from the line.
Seriously. If Target manages to bring Neutrogena to Edmonton, WE ARE GOING. /flails

It’s a date Rae!

I remember using Shimmer or Glisten a loooong time ago and loving it so much! Haven’t used these in a while, but why not? I think they’re great for the price. Not very tinted, but nice and glossy and love the SPF
Nina says
Oh. Want! Ive been searching for glosses on the lower end of the price scale to just leave in all my beach bags for the summer. I find that when I change beach bags, I often forget to bring certain things. 🙂
