Making a drugstore run today? If you are, can I come? 🙂 If you’re planning to check out the four new $10.95 Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow & Liners palettes while you’re there, these pics and swatches may help.
Casual, Smoky and Fashion will be chillin’ in the beauty aisle with Nude, the fourth palette in the line (here’s a look at Nude from earlier this week).

I thought the Nude palette was a little more difficult to work with than these three. It just seems like the brighter and darker shades here appear less patchy on my skin than the neutrals do, although I still feel that all of them require more time and patience to blend together than I’d like.
Among these three palettes, I think Fashionista stands out the most. Not only are its pigmented shades the easiest to blend, but that gorgeous golden green shadow in the middle is surprisingly wearable (try it on your lids!).

Smokey looks amazing to me in the pan, but those swatches just aren’t doing it for me. I’d much rather head for Wet n Wild at the drugstore – half the price and twice the quality, IMO.

I’m thinking the same thing

Fashionista stands out the most to me because I’m a fan of purple, and that yellow gold is adorable!

The Smoky palette has alot shades that look quite similar to one another. Also, they don’t look like they have good pigmentation either. =(

I like Physician’s Formula. I have a bronzer/highlighter by them and it’s great. Brightens up your face and gives a nice glow. Their eyeshadows usually don’t last very long on me, though. I test a lot of my makeup out on 12 and 16 hour shifts, and I have found as far as cheap eyeshadows go, Milani is the best, especially with a good primer.

I’d have to go with Fashionista, I just can’t get away with wearing blues (Smokey and Casual). I can sure rock purples and greens though!

These don’t look too promising to me : (

Don’t look that interesting to me .:(

Some of the shades in Fashionista remind me of one of Lancôme’s Ultra Lavan de collection a while back. They had one that I really liked with cool purples and a gold shade. Shame about the difficult blending though, I never leave enough time in the mornings to properly do all my makeup, much less to work with difficult products…

I agree – out of all these palettes, Fashionista caught my eye first. Cute how they accented the packaging with a yellow button. And I like the zipper detail on the Casual palette.
Hmm…but I won’t be buying any of these since they don’t seem wildly different from stuff I already have. (I’m trying to use up more of all the eye shadows I already own so I can continue to save money.)
Thank you for sharing, though! 🙂 Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday, Karen.

pretty colors …. my issue again is my OCD. the eyeshadows have no divider between them! makes me sound like Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory. 😀

I’ve never tried anything from Physicians Formula yet! I think I’ll be getting around to it sometime in the near future though, because Target is the closest makeup carrier convenient to travel to from my school campus and it’s one of the few brands the store carries! Yay!

I was looking at these the other night and seriously considering it, but I already have 2 PF palettes and I felt the colors in these weren’t horribly different from the two I already have and let’s be honest I need more eyeshadow like I need a hole in my head (this still doesn’t stop me from buying it lol).
