So adorable 🙂 He really is a cat-model, isn’t he? He never seems to mind being photographed by you…actually seems to enjoy basking in the spotlight! I took a LOT of photos of my little Ladybugs (my dog) today and about 5 pictures in, she was already cranky and not having it 😛
Mingy’s doing great! Thanks for asking He’s enjoying the warm weather, bird watching and eating grass.
Also, I recently discovered that he does not like bicycles. We were on a walk when some kids rode by and he was freaked out. Strange b/c cars don’t bother him. I’m not sure what’s going on in his kitty brain that registers danger.
I’ve been wondering if he’s had the chance to enjoy the weather. I’m glad to hear he’s out and about exploring the world!
About the bicycles, maybe it was the sudden sound of the kids that caught him off guard? Poor little guy.
So Tabs’ has a new favorite pastime — watching birds on the deck all day long. We hung two bird feeders a couple weeks ago and now there’s a constant stream of finches stopping by to eat! Tabs spends his days staring at them and cacking.
Mingy’s been getting extra time outdoors lately. Since our house is up for sale, we pack up the cats and drive to a nearby park when there are showings. He loves exploring new areas.
It’s the cutest when kitties talk to the birds. Both Nina and Mingy sit at the windows and chatter away.
That’s so cute! I would love to take Tabs to a park, but he’s so not an car kitty. He HATES riding in the car. 🙁 Do you guys put the cats in carriers, or do they just chill out on the seats?

Ella and Nina are in carriers. Mingy has on his harness and leash and I hold onto him. He’s not crazy about the drive and meows a lot, but I try to get him to look out the window. Luckily it’s only a couple of minutes away.
Nina her own teeny-tiny harness so she gets to walk around and explore. Ella is content to hang out in the carrier. My husband usually drives his truck, so we’ll set her in the bed so she can look around and get fresh air.
It’s been so hot lately, Mingy’s been panting! Luckily, we only have to be out for an hour.
That sounds like heaven compared to taking Tabs anywhere in our car. He meows and mewls the entire time. Maybe he’s complaining about not riding in a limo, LOL!
Oh, I love the thought of little Nina in her dainty harness. 🙂
I think it’s cool that you can take them to the park without having to worry about dogs or anything. Here in Marin county dogs rule the land! My big fear is that we go to a park with Tabs, and suddenly a dog comes out of nowhere and I don’t have any place to hide him, you know?

Luckily, there have not been any dogs around. I think that would probably scare all three of them. The only danger so far is noisy kids and bikes.
I’ll snap some pics next time we’re out. I’m a bit biased, but Nina does look pretty cute in her little harness. 🙂
