If you go to any Asian grocery store and look for vegetarian products, you can find “chicken”, “beef” and other meats made from soy products to mimic the taste. A lot of restaurant uses those in their vegetarian dishes.
Judy is right! I’m Vietnamese and pescatarian myself, and these “meats” are actually soy or tofu-based. Compared to Tofurky-like foods, these ones really do taste like their real counterparts, with just as much, if not more, variety! Haha.
