I am gushing with joy!! I am super excited about all the new eyeshadows and formulations that Urban Decay is releasing. I just love how pigmented they are and that they have a wide range of colors that suits each individual. =)
Hi Karen 🙂 sorry I didn’t reply in your post the other day! I’m doing all right – ending spring break, which has been very nice! 2 and a half months ago, my mom got the lung transplant we’ve been waiting on for years. She’d been on the waiting list for 11 months, but it takes time to get from “waiting to be on the waiting list,” too. I have a question about the feed for MBB. I changed to the new feed multiple times (using feeddler, since google reader is going away), but every time I try to see your posts, I’m prompted to “update” my link again. When I copy that link, and try to add it, I’m told it already exists. Then it’ll work for a couple of links, and then it goes back to telling me to update the link again. Do you have any ideas?
No worries. 🙂 I’m so happy to hear that your mom was finally able to get her lung transplant. That’s really amazing! I saw a story on the news a couple weeks back on new lung transplant technology where they actually keep the lungs breathing rather than put them on ice:
Thank you 🙂 Yeah, i heard about “ex vivo” while Mom was recovering in the hospital. They’re working on getting it where she was transplanted, I think (UW). It’s amazing! I was able to spend 3.5 weeks with my parents, and actually bought my ticket up to Seattle the moment Mom was taken into surgery and pulled into the hospital as my dad was hearing from the surgeon that everything had gone well. It was an incredibly intense couple of weeks (my dad was sick for two of the three weeks Mom was in the hospital, so I was the only one who could go and get the post-transplant training), and in the middle of that my boyfriend took our dog to the vet and he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Luckily, I was able to spend quite a bit of time with him when I got back.
That’s the lung disease my mom has! She’s about 10.5 weeks post-transplant and walking hills and up to three miles! It is truly miraculous 🙂 Every day we are grateful to the donor family, and think of them.

Laced is actually quite amazing. I never thought much of it in the Vice palette, but it’s so pretty.

The packaging for the matte powder is gorgeous. If it works out for oily skin, I’m sold.
