The trees in my neighborhood have so far refused to say so long to summer…
I admire them for that. 🙂
There’s still a lot of green out there, even on the old oak tree outside my living room window, but I know it’s only a matter of time… It’s already chilly here at night — too chilly to leave any windows open — and now I have to wear slippers to keep from shivering when I step on the kitchen tiles in the morning, bluh.
What’s it like out yonder way? Does it feel like fall yet in your neck of the woods?

I actually love cold weather! But, maybe because that’s a rarity here in LA. 🙂

It’s starting to get there in NYC! We’ve had some very fall-like days, and the trees are starting to turn beautifully… though the last 2 days have been in the 80’s (bluh). I’m looking forward to being able to wear sweaters and leggings and boots with abandon!!

I live in New York and it’s 80 here today… in October!! I haven’t even been able to wear my boots! GRRR!

Much cooler in the desert (by desert standards, not Nor*Cal standards…). But I found myself sweating as I got out of the shower, and was getting ready. 🙁
I can’t wait for winter! It’s nothing special here, but at least I can THINK about what sweater or jacket to wear. LoL.

Fall….not a chance here in New Orleans. In fact, we might just have a hurricane instead.

We’ve been enjoying great weather here in Wisconsin the last month. More sunshine and warmer temps than normal. The trees are about 50% “turned” where I live. So beautiful! The lack of color is what I hate most about heading into winter. I can handle the cold and snow, but I really hate cloudy gloomy days.

I can’t wait for the cool weather.

It’s warmer than the usual October days here in Iowa. But warm is like 70 for October, ha. Most of the geese haven’t gone south yet, weird. There’s a couple hanging out in my backyard at night. Drives my husband nuts! Haha

Hot and humid here in Tampa 80’s. Autumn is my favorite season, I miss the beautiful fall foliage from my hometown in Maryland.

The weather in northern Michigan has been weirdly warm for this time of year, but I expect the temps to drop any day now! The leaves have definitely been changing, and you can smell the October air, and all the storefronts have been pumpkinized or covered in straw bundles or indian corn… but I don’t have to wear a jacket during the day yet, so who knows!

It’s definitely fall up here in Alberta. I’ve started wearing boots, jeans, and long sleeved tops.

The leaves are starting to turn in my neighborhood on the Milpitas/Santa Clara city lines and it’s getting a little cooler in the air. They don’t really turn orange here though, mostly yellow or red.
