You’re probably wondering why you’re looking at a half-eaten bag of cheesy puffs.

Well, once upon a time (like an hour ago) this was actually a full bag of Trader Joe’s World’s Puffiest White Cheddar Corn Puffs. “Allegedly,” I bought it last weekend so that I could take pictures of it with my good camera to make a post about them and share it with you, and I say “allegedly” because this was my fourth bag in the past four weeks.

Someone ate the other ones before I could take the pics…

Anyway, this time I did it! The bag is only half empty. 🙂

Progress, my friends. It’s called progress.

These are the fluffiest, puffiest, most melt-in-your-mouthiest cheesy puffs I’ve ever had the pleasure of encountering. I carefully time when I’m going to open the bag to ensure that El Hub’s not around…so that I can have them all to myself.

I’m usually all about sharing, especially when it comes to food, but with these…they’re just so tasty and fluffy and yummy and cheesy and puffy and light. Before you know it, you’ve eaten 3/4 of the bag, and suddenly you are very crabby.

Oh, and these are cheesy, but it’s not that fake Cheetos cheesy (yeah, those are still good though). It’s real cheesy. Real cheese cheesy. Plus, a two-and-a-half cup serving is just 140 calories.

These are so delicious. I devoured a bag rather quickly. Probably over the span of several days if that. No shame!

I love Trader Joe’s! I just bought their new unpopped corn. Think corn kernels with a little crunch and lightly salted. They are pretty good if your teeth can handle it!

I saw those last week! I’m kind of scared of them though. Are they very hard to eat?

      • Elena says:

Hm, on a scale of hardness…I would say they are pretty crunchy (like I just bought almonds the other day, and they are crunchier than that). If you normally avoid foods like that I would say pass! But, the way they do whatever they do to the kernels does make them easy to eat (it’s definitely not like eating kernels from the bottom of a popcorn bag). I like them because they are salty and have a satisfying crunch!

Ugh I love Trader Joe’s so much. I might go there today. I am always finding new things haha.

        • Karen says:

If you go today head over to the cheese section and look for the Toscana Cheese with Black Pepper. EHRMAHGAWD. I bought a wedge last week and am super obsessed with it!

Another TJ’s snack fiend here. These and their popped green beans are the bomb! I want to try the unpopped corn now thanks to you Elena.

  3. Lorrie says:

I just ate half a bag of the sour cream and onion ones. Addicting to say the least.

  4. Rhia says:

Those are my favorite TJ’s snack! 2nd would be their baked cheese crunchies. I want a bag of either right now…

  5. Aaaaaaaahm-nam-nam! They look so light 🙂 You could probably snack on these all day and never feel full!

Fun fact, my cat (Lithium, the grey one) loves those. She will steal the bag if you are not vigilant. She will snatch it off the snack cabinet in the night and eat them all because she is a greedy thing.

  8. Rachel says:

TJ’s is dangerous with the snack food. That’s why I’m glad/sad I don’t have one near me anymore. Wild was excellent! I love Reese, she’s a great actress.

    • Karen says:

      Hey Rachel,

I love her too. I’ve been following her career for a long time and she’s one of my faves. Have you ever seen Man in the Moon? It’s one of her early films and she’s great in it.

      Happy Thursday, by the way!

      • Rachel says:

I’ll have to look for that movie, I haven’t seen it. Have you seen “Mud” with her and Matthew McConaughey? Really liked that one too, she chooses a lot of interesting roles. Oh that reminds me I just recently saw parts of “American Psycho” which she was in and I really liked it, a little disturbing but I still want to sit down and watch the whole thing sometime.
Yay Thursday, means its almost Friday!

        • Karen says:

It’s a sweet movie. One to watch when you feel like relaxing on a Sunday afternoon.

And yes, I’ve seen Mud. I really liked it. Totally forgot that she was in American Psycho… I love that one for young Christian Bale.

Not gonna lie, I love her to bits in Legally Blonde. 😀

  9. Stephanie says:

    Sounds good, I’ll do it.

  10. Joyce says:

I love Trader Joe’s. From their Chicago style popcorn to their tea tree tingle shampoo, I enjoy everything there. Oh, and their sea salt brownies… Drool!

  11. Ann says:

That looks like Pirate’s Booty, and sounds just like it. It’s so good, have you had it Karen?
