Why yes, the girl standing in the middle of the street in her jammies taking pics of the supermoon was me!
While I took these pics I kept hearing Michael Jackson’s Thriller in my head (“It’s close to midnight, and something evil’s lurking in the dark!”).
Thankfully, I did not encounter any werewolves/werecats/creepy creatures while I was out there… Not this time.

With the starburst effect it looks very sun-like, doesn’t it?
So many people walked up to us and asked us what’s special about the moon cos we were taking so many photos…couldn’t believe for once I knew something others didn’t

Hi, Rads! It was pretty late when I went out to snap these, so I don’t think anyone saw me. I even took Tabs out for a minutes to check it out because I don’t know the last time he’s seen a supermoon. Probably back when he was an outdoor kitty a few years ago.
I love the supermoon pic you posted on your blog. It almost looks like a painting. So vivid, and the contrast between the sepia moon and the blue sky looks amazing!

Thanks, Karen! We did a bit of youtube searching on how to get the moon just right and made sure we caught the moon just as it was out..apparently that helps it look larger

It was horribly overcast here last night so I failed miserably to get some good shots of the supermoon despite my best intentions.
