My nose knows! Whenever a gal walks by wearing Chloe, I can always pinpoint the scent. El Hub and my friends make fun of me because of my heightened sense of smell, but whatevs (my olfactory abilities are often compared to those of a Bassett Hound). It’s my one cool parlor trick, I guess. (“That girl who just walked by? She’s wearing Chloe.”)
I love and wear Chloe, myself, in all of its incarnations, but I have a soft spot for the original Chloe and Love, Chloe.
The newest version of the scent, Roses de Chloe Eau de Toilette, though, is jostling for the top spot. I’ve been setting aside the richer scents I wore over the holidays in favor of brighter, more citrusy fragrances, and this one smells so good…
Chloe’s signature rose notes still beat at the heart of the fragrance, but this one’s lighter, with a sparkling bergamot (a citrus fruit) note that freshens it up for spring.
The official fragrance notes are fresh cut roses, bergamot, rose essence, magnolia accord, white musk and amber. Unofficially, I’d call it “sleeping in on a Saturday meets getting a surprise delivery of roses meets the best mimosa you’ve ever had.” 🙂
Care to give Roses de Chloé a sniff? You can find it now at Sephora, Nordstrom and nordstrom.com.

From our love of Chloe to our heightened sense of smell (Mr. M just thinks I’m crazy at this point), we are two peas in a pod! Chloe is all kinds of right on with my body chemistry and I’m really wanting to get my hands on the latest rose edition. Perfect timing with the upcoming Sephora triple points on fragrance.

I love a touch of citrus in rose fragrances! Have to give this one a try. Lovely pictures Karen!

Sounds like it smells good, but I end up not liking a lot of things that I think sound like they smell good, LOL.

Karen, your photos are SO beautiful! You have a great nose, but also a fantastic EYE! I love original Chloe and this sounds fantastic: “sleeping in on a Saturday meets getting a surprise delivery of roses meets the best mimosa you’ve ever had.” Yes, please!!

It looks amazing.

Oh my! Amazing pictures Karen

Since the original doesn’t smell very good on me, I’ll certainly give this one a squirt because it sounds like it might work!

I truly adore L’ eau de Chloe and am on my third bottle. however, I gave away my original Chloe (way too sweet) and Roses de Chloe (mwah, not special).

I recently got a sample with a Nordstrom order. It’s nice, but I think I prefer Love,Chloe. I just love rose mixed with violet.

I have the original Chloe and I really like it! I’m very curious to try this new scent. I hope it’s sweeter and softer! I could use a lighter Chloe fragrance for everyday wear

I’m a sucker for cute packaging and design, but I smelled this at Sephora recently and I just wasn’t into it. Then again, citrus-y, flowery fragrances don’t do it for me. I actually found my perfect fragrance this past week (Flowerbomb) which I initially thought I would hate due to the name, but it’s amazing. I got the rollerball, but I’ll invest in the full size when that runs out.

Wow – who could resist a sniff after that glowing review? Sleeping in on a Saturday? Yes, please. 🙂

My local Sephora gave me a sample of this last Friday, I wore it over the weekend and yeah, it just smells so pretty. I love the other Chloe fragrances too.
I can always pinpoint when someone is wearing Angel by Thierry Mugler!

Sounds like a great fragrance.
