Purple flowers in the house, y’all!
Well, technically not inside the house, but near it.
In the neighborhood, at least.
I saw these on my walk earlier today… Don’t the ones up there look like crinkly paper?
I’m so glad I had my phone with me because the wildflowers are going crazy right now! All of the trees, flowers and grasses are pretty happy about the heavy rain we got earlier this month.
I always love this time of year when everything’s still green… There are so many beautiful things to see. You just have to look for them. 🙂

So pretty. I love your flower (and nature) photos. Keep ’em coming!

ooooo I wonder what type of flower the 6th picture is…

To Vanessa: I think the last photo (if that’s the one you’re asking about) is a Russell Lupine, which is related to the Texas Bluebonnet. Russell Lupines are larger and more impressive than Texas bluebonnets, but they don’t grow well in hot climates.

The crinkles in the petals in the first photo are just incredible! Such beautiful flowers, and of course, purple is always the best colour 😉
