Styrch says July 8th, 2011 at 5:57 am I have the white Anabell types at my house. These are pretty, but to me they look a little like pink hydrangeas that didn’t quite get enough nitrogen (I think that’s the right chem) to turn fully blue. But either way, fun! Reply

Annette says July 8th, 2011 at 9:17 am Gorgeous! For what it’s worth, they’re purple because the soil has a neutral PH. they will be blue in acidic soil and pink in alkali soil. 🙂 Reply
