Chelsea says: October 4th, 2011 at 10:23 am Have you ever tried dry roasted edamame? Salty, crunchy, all 8 essential amino acids and loads of protein! It’s yummy AND only $2 a bag, which fits perfectly in my broke-college-student budget. =) Then wash it all down with a tall glass of coconut water! Reply Karen says: October 4th, 2011 at 10:32 am Oh, that sounds so good! I’m trying to chill out on the salt, though. Maybe if I can find an unsalted version… I’ve heard great things about coconut water. What brand do you drink? Reply Chelsea says: October 4th, 2011 at 8:46 pm I really like ONE. It’s the best I’ve tried and if you’re not crazy about the plain version, they also have coconut water with a splash of fruit juice like pineapple or guava. The Seapoint Farms brand of edamame isn’t overloaded with salt, but if you like a bit of kick… there’s a wasabi version, too. It does wonders for the sinuses. Haha! Reply megan says: October 4th, 2011 at 11:23 am Either fresh fruit, yogurt, or a protien shake with fresh fruit AND yogurt! Reply Trisha says: October 4th, 2011 at 11:58 am Mmm, that sounds (and looks) awesome. Me? Maybe greek yogurt with grapes in it. 🙂 Trisha recently posted … 6 Ways to Wear Blue Eye Shadow Reply Monika says: October 4th, 2011 at 1:03 pm I just bought a jar of almond butter today for the first time ever. Reply Karen says: October 4th, 2011 at 6:13 pm Thanks for the snack suggestions, gals! 🙂 Reply Marian says: October 4th, 2011 at 7:03 pm I like a smoothie of coconut milk, banana and pineapple Reply Christy says: October 4th, 2011 at 8:37 pm I workout before breakfast, so my breakfast is my post workout meal 🙂 I usually have a vanilla or chocolate protein shake with a scoop of Reliv vitamin powder, half a banana, some other fruit, a bit of oatmeal and a generous tablespoon of Greek Gods honey yogurt. That yogurt is sooooooooo good!!! I would eat more of it, but it is pretty high in calories and fat, so only a little bit for me. If I workout sometime later in the day, I have some coconut water, small piece of toast with some peanut or almond butter. I love to have a fresh fruit salad after as well – i feel its good to load up on all the vitamins right after!! Reply Vonvon says: October 5th, 2011 at 12:02 am Yummy! I would usually have a yogurt, or some fruits and smoothies.
