Bang Candy Company Caramels from Nashville, TN

Things Are Sweeter in Tennessee

There were a lot more caramels in this shot before I started eating them.

Oh, my gosh!

So, I found this. There’s a local candy company out in Nashville called the Bang Candy Company. They make these bomb-@ss boozy caramels with Whisper Creek Tennessee Sipping Cream (and, um, bourbon), and girl! — let me tell you, I’ve had many, many caramels in my day, but these are probably the best caramels I’ve ever had.

I am seriously, like… There were about 20 caramels here before I picked up the camera, but then one thing led to another as I was composing.

But anyway! :) These caramels are super sweet, so incredibly soft and just effing lovely. They have enough, like, chewiness to them, but they’re not so sticky that they get stuck in your teeth for days.

They’re just the best freaking caramels I’ve ever eaten, and who knew I’d find them in Tennessee??

If that got your sweet tooth’s attention, you can find them online at bangcandycompany.com. (Although, brace yourself, the website says they’re currently sold out. I don’t know, though. I’d check anyway.)

I’m actually thinking about getting a few more (with “few” being polite for “many”) of these, hopefully for myself, but maybe also for others, LOL! Great for Christmas or birthdays or whatever, but I have a feeling that if I do get some as gifts, I’ll probably just end up eating them.

I wonder if they ship to New Zealand… ;-)

I would totally go the extra mile for caramels that good. I am all about the caramel, people!

Oooh, caramel. SO bad for the teeth, but so good!

    • Karen says:

I know, right?! I think I may have accidentally loosened a few fillings, LOL. I could happily eat caramels all day.

How are you and the fur babies doing? Is QB ready for the big bunny day?

      • Chelsea says:

QB is quite excited for Easter, although he really is the center of attention all the time! He never brings me candy or eggs, but he does give lots of kisses on a daily basis! Sunday is supposed to be almost 70 degrees and sunny, so I might take his exercise pen outside and let him chow down on some grass while I sit outside or something. He’ll definitely get a special treat like banana or something.

        • Karen says:

I’d rather have bunny kisses than candy any ol’ day.

Aww, take tons of pics when he’s playing outside! The world needs more QB.

          • Chelsea says:

It really does! And bunny kisses are probably healthier too, and he gives those year round! Whenever I’m trying to do yoga in the living room, he just gives me kisses, and it’s pretty adorable (though it makes the moves a little harder, LOL!)

          • Karen says:

Bunny kisses are fat free! Huge plus. So, what is it with animals and yoga mats? Whenever I set mine out on the living room floor to do some stretching, Tabs is guaranteed to stroll on over and plop right down in the center of the mat. He’s really cute about it so I can’t get mad at him, though.

Anyway, hope you’re having a nice day so far. It’s a sunny one here in Nor Cal today…gonna go out for a walk soon.

OMG I was going to tell you to hit them up! I went their last year and again this year while in Nashville (I live about 4 hours away in Indiana so it’s a quick getaway and they have spring color before us). I’ve become addicted to their marshmallows and caramels, the BelleMeade bourbon caramels and the peach and basil marshmallows are so good!

    • Karen says:

      Hi Breyerchic04!

Sadly…I’m down to my last Boozy Caramel. *tears* I’m going to have to call them to see if they’ll ship out here to California.

What do you usually like to do when you’re in Nashville? I want to add some more fun things to my list for when I go back.

      • breyerchic04 says:

This year I went down with a friend whose boyfriend lives there part time, so during the day we did the basic touristy stuff, the country music hall of fame, american picker’s store, saw the parthanon, ate at Arnold’s (OMG you must do this, best southern food anywhere). At night we went to Tootsie’s and The Bluebird as well as a couple other places.

Totally call about getting more caramels and add marshmallows to that, before the weather there gets too hot and they stop shipping!

        • Karen says:

Oh gosh, I didn’t even think about that! I better call soon!

OK, so I just googled Arnold’s my tummy started rumbling. Do you remember what you ordered? If/when I go back, I’m gonna get a bunch of sides and maybe some fried fish if they have it that day.

I had fried shrimp with the corn and macaroni, and the chocolate pepper pie! The macaroni is not like foodie macaroni with truffles or anything but it’s amazing, and the cream corn is brilliant. Someone else I was with had the greens and they’re also awesome they have wasabi in them.

I work at a homemade candy store, we might have to copy that idea!
