We have five persimmon trees, and a few other trees as well. I think we have a pomegranate tree, an avocado tree, a lemon tree, a calamansi tree, and a mango tree that doesn’t bear fruit. XD My dad says that it’s synced up to the mango trees in the Philippines, and they tend to start bearing fruit at the start of our winter season in the US. Also, the birds have a tendency to get to the new fruits first before we do. We also used to have an apple tree and a plum tree, but those have been taken down in the past year or so.
Did you ever do persimmon picking thing with your parents at an orchard before? XD I remember doing that a lot when I was little. 🙂
Those don’t look ripe enough to eat. But I only like them super squishy and soft. They are an amazing color. I don’t think there is anything so beautiful as a persimmon tree that is dripping with fruit.
My finace and I went to his parents last night and he told me to pick some of the peaches. I was thinking “Peaches in November?”! I went to pick them and was then thinking “These are not peaches, but I will eat them anyway!”. He had no idea what they were. Now we know!!! Thank you
every time I see your photos, I think, wow I really need to dive in and get the T3i! Is there any other DSLR’s you were looking at when you purchased your T3i, and how long have you been using your DSLR?

Karen says
She does! 🙂 She and my dad also have apple trees and a peach tree too. How many persimmon trees do you have?

Persimmons are probably my favorite fruit. Or maybe Satsumas. I love both so much, yay winter fruit!
