When I lived in the Outer Richmond district in San Francisco, I used to run by Ocean Beach all the time.
It’s California, yes, but you can’t swim in the water — it’s too damn cold, plus there are dangerous rip tides.

i just got major flash backs of bike riding along this beach a few years ago
I love the Cliff House! I’m gonna try to get my new boo out to the beach next weekend… lol
haha and the wind blows like crazy! ahh i miss the beach. its so far from sacramento. well warm ones anyways.
There’s a beach like that in Puerto Rico I went to. We didn’t swim in the water because the tide would drag people between the two large rocks (they both stuck out 10 feet in the air) and people would drown. Scary, but beautiful to walk by or picnic at.
So beautiful. I used to stay in Chicago for few years but never got a chance to go to San Fran – too bad.
We are so lucky to live so close to such a beautiful place.
