Is it a she or he? There is only a 2% of Ginger cats are female.

I had to put my 17-yr old orange female down right before Xmas. She had some malignant tumors that finally made her uncomfortable and she lost her zest for life. I still have her litter mate, also orange, but a male. His bloodwork came back fine the other day, so it seems he will be around for a while, G-d willing.
I will always miss my Sophie, tho. Orange cats are the best and she was my best friend for a long time. =(
