Is it a she or he? There is only a 2% of Ginger cats are female.

I had to put my 17-yr old orange female down right before Xmas. She had some malignant tumors that finally made her uncomfortable and she lost her zest for life. I still have her litter mate, also orange, but a male. His bloodwork came back fine the other day, so it seems he will be around for a while, G-d willing.

I will always miss my Sophie, tho. Orange cats are the best and she was my best friend for a long time. =(

Awe, he/she is so cute! I have an orange too. He’s very playful, but much fluffier (fatter) than this one.

  11. Chelsea says:

Oh my gosh, she (he?) is so cute!

Aww, both are solid kitty names. You can’t go wrong with the classics. :) When I was a kid, I had a gray and white striped guy named “Stripes.” I know…
