Irrespective of this super creamy, smooth, streak-free paw paint’s proper name, it’s not your garden variety creamy teal. Essie’s Garden Variety Nail Polish ($8.50) is so preternaturally pigmented that 1) it’s liable to make nearby flowers jealous, and 2) you can easily get away with wearing just one layer.
But I’m wearing two here (force of habit).
With a base and top coat, Essie polishes usually last me five or six days before I start to see any chips, but I’m pretty tough on my nails.
Garden Variety is part of the Essie Flowerista spring collection, available now at salons, Ulta, Target, Nordstrom and wherever else Essie is sold.
Oh! If you’re curious, the pants are the Destroyed Boyfriend Jeans by Blank NYC, and the bracelet is a random no-name bauble I’ve had for a while.
I like how it matches the polish. 🙂
What about your paws today? What are you wearing on your nails?

These are lovely! Bright but not nearing neon, which can be hard to find. Your manicure looks wonderful this week. 🙂

It’s so lovely with your jeans! Thank you for the idea Karen. I hope you don’t mind if I borrow it. 😉

I love the contrast between the cute bright polish and roughed up denim.

What a pretty shade! I only got one shade from the Flowerista collection-Blossom Dandy, which is really pretty too!
Currently I am wearing only a base coat on my nails, I haven’t had time to paint them. Need to fix that asap though!

This is a cute shade of blue! Even I would wear it! (and I normally don’t really wear blue)

Ooh I almost picked this color up recently, but ended up going for the purply Flowerista in this collection instead. Which is lovely, but a little darker on the nails than in the bottle, so I think it’s more of a transition shade or a fall shade for me. 🙂 That one looks great too, it’s also a little darker on the nails looks like.
I’m currently wearing Nails Inc Bright Street (my new favorite) which is just a sheer iridescent lavender/white which just makes my nails look bright and healthy. Coupled with Essie’s Set in Stones along the nailbed, trying to do that reverse glitter gradient (and somewhat failing) that I always see on Pinterest, etc. ^_^

What a gorgeous, happy shade of blue!! Love the bracelet, too. It reminds me of the Kate Spade bangles.

Love this shade! So vibrant, I’d definitely wear it for a pedicure.

Super cute nails with the jeans. I love those jeans. I’ve got pink and white polka dot nails this week with hearts little hearts on my ring fingers. I shared my link so you could see. Do you like them? Next week, I’m for sure doing something cute with blue though!

Very pretty. They remind me of the Guerlain turquoise nails from last week. Hard to top that color though!! I haven’t gotten excited about nail polish for a long time until I saw that post last week! PS: do you paint your own nails?? Impressive
