Check this out: from The Container Store for $25. It’s double sided with 80 clear vinyl slots that perfectly fit round AND square blushes (and probably a whole bunch of other things too).
Yay! No more rifling through the bottom of a drawer… The only thing is, it gets heavy when you load it up, so you gotta make sure the hook or coat hanger can handle the weight (yes, I broke one).
Got any good makeup storage ideas?

good tip! I don’t really have any good tips, I just keep my makeup in plastic drawers

This is awesome! The space in the bathroom I have dedicated to “my” stuff is starting to get crowded. 🙁 I have been thinking about this IKEA vanity that I saw on Pinterest. *sigh*
I do not have nifty storage ideas for make up. My collection is not that extensive (Yet. You’re broadening my horizon, Karen & Tabs! 🙂 ). All of my daily use make up fits in a Caboodle box that’s about 8″x6″x8″, and my brushes and eyeliners live in a triangular Stila make up brush bag. Simple, huh?
Have a good night! 🙂

This is how I’ve stored the majority of my makeup for a couple of years. It works really well, except I have to find a place closer to where I do my makeup to hang it, instead of the door to my craft closet across the livingroom (I do my makeup in the opposite corner of the room).

I love the container store. This would hold a ton of blush.

YESSSS!!! Getting one today! In fact, I think I saw something like this at Marshall’s. Organizing makeup gets me all giddy!

That’s a terrific idea! Of course, you know I’d only need one vinyl square but, for people with lots of variety, it would be great. Of course you could always use it for eyeshadow singles, too. Very cool organizer. 🙂

That is a great way of storing blushes or single eyeshadows! I only have palettes and those 3 blushes I have, meh.. However, I do have quite a stash of eyeliners. I took my son’s old pencilroll (after getting him a new one of course), put my eyeliners in and nailed it to the wall. The roll has elastic bands so the eyeliners don’t fall out. It has made finding and picking a colour much easier.

Well… I depot all of them — blushes and eyeshadows.
I use some empty CD cases, glue a magnetic sheet inside, and voilà ! I have a lot of magnetic palettes and I can easily separate all by color. Then I put them all in a CD tower, which saves me a LOT of space. 😀
I have some pics at my Instagram (@giselemilanezi).
But I must say that I’m in love with these vinil slots. 😉

Great idea! Every wall in my house could be covered by these, lol.

This is such a great idea! So cool and practical! So much more organized that keep makeup in drawer or a container.

Hi Karen,
I love storing my shower/hair care stuff in a basket under my sink, instead of all over my counter. For makeup, I like to keep the stuff I’m using that day out on my vanity and the rest stashed away so the morning is easy.

Karen, I must know what Mac blush is that, that you’ve hit major pan on?

This is ingenious!! really great idea Karen!
