Reply lexi says: February 11th, 2010 at 3:48 pm You ever go to Musee d’Orsay when you were in Paris? It’s all(or mostly) Impressionist art. It was absolutely beautiful. I also loved that the Museum was orginally a Train Station – I miss Paris! I’m pretty sure they carried a few Degas. I missed the Prado museum while in Madrid luckily I went to the Sofia – lots of great art. I saw my favorite Picasso there. Reply Karen says: February 11th, 2010 at 3:49 pm YES! I wish I could live there. I turned to jelly when I hit the Monets… 🙂 Reply Katie & Zena says: February 11th, 2010 at 9:19 pm I love Edgar Degas’ ballerina paintings. I almost bought a print of one last year but went for the Mucha instead. I just noticed how many artists I like who’s last names start with ‘M’- Manet, Monet, Mucha, Michelangelo. XD And as much as I hate Rodin the person (hate, hate, hate, hate), his sculptures are exquisite. He’s a great sculptor, wicked, wicked person. He really destroyed Camille Claudel (who, by the way, was an amazing sculptor as well. I love her piece L’Age Mûr). Reply Em C says: February 12th, 2010 at 8:02 am I was a ballerina for 15 years before coming to college where I miss dancing terribly! These are beautiful pictures!!
