I’m obsessed with chai! Question: Is that store bought, homemade or from a cafe!? In S.F, there’s a chai tea chart on Montgomery St. that sells rose and lavender chai tea-I think you should check it out!
🙂
Adrinna make your own 🙂
for 1 cup half water- half milk is the measure
boil water
with
1/2 inch ginger crushed, small cinnamon stick
2 cloves – give it a bash to release the oil, 1 cardomon popped
sugar to taste or even some palm sugar if you can find it.
some pple add Anise but I dont
Give it a good boil and when you think the flavours have really brewed add your milk and watch it…boil. Reduce. simmer KEEP watching so it doesnt boil over !
Once you think its all well homogenised add any black tea bag – I use ordinary supermarket Lipton Yellow Label. Let the tea bag brew till its a nice Latte colour. Dont brew too long so it doesnt get bitter.
strain and enjoy. Ginger is best for the winter months to ease the throat.
hope this helps
