When I walked out my front door the other day I saw these beautiful flowers in my neighbor’s yard.
I was like, “Oh, look!” I’m being greeted by flowers.
That’s the thing about other people’s flowers… We’re allowed to enjoy them too. 🙂
Do you have any neighbors who have a lot of flowers?

I have a neighbor with an amazing garden. I assume she only has the time to maintain it because she’s retired. It’s huge and needs a lot of work.

Sadly, there aren’t many flowers around our apartment building (you’re not allowed to have anything on the miniscule balconies), but there is a tiny little triangle shaped wilderness/park right outside where three roads intersect. There are dark, (naturally, it’s what they do) tangled trees, big leafy shrubs and even a stone obelisk. There’s always lots of birdsong, and I love it 🙂
I wish there were more flowers like that orange one around, though!

I’ve been known to get out of my car while driving to snap some shots of flowers in other people’s yards. It’s also one of my primary features on Instagram. I guess I’m just a sucker for a still life!

I am that neighbor. I filled almost 100 pots this year with flowers. We are also planted everywhere on our small lot – think NO GRASS – all flowers and plants and ponds.
It’s small but it’s my zen and nothing makes me happier than just sitting out there on a beautiful day and watching nature happen.
WHen you’re organic and don’t kill stuff, there is a whole lot to see and I’m always amazed and overwhelmed sometimes by the beauty.

pretty!
my neighbor across the street has a landscaping and plant rental business, and she also does a little free landscaping around the housing complex. so yeah, we get to enjoy nice (free) greens….

My mommy has tons of flowers, all bloom in succession by the season. I wonder if it was planned or mere coincidence. I love the Sarah Bernhardt peonies the most and for such a short season in May. I too stop by places and take pictures of flowers(screensavers at my cube or use some of my cats or dog.)
