A few pics from dinner at Benu last Saturday.
It’s kind of a fancy-shmancy Asian-inspired restaurant in San Francisco (my friends are foodies…I just like it when the meal doesn’t involve standing at my kitchen counter and eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich).
Each dish was like a work of art. Seriously, I felt like I was in an episode of Top Chef!

I can’t actually identify any of that food (well, except for the chocolate, of course), but it all looks AMAZING!

Wow, thanks for the photos. I enjoyed looking at them so I can only imagine how good everything tasted.

I just don’t know what to say about this food. Like Heidi said…I can’t identify any of it…and that’s a little off putting to me.
It’s pretty to look at, but I wouldn’t want to eat it.

That looks fabulous–I’m jealous of both you and a friend of mine who is in SF for the Merola program who also ate there a couple of weeks ago. She loved it, as well. Thanks for sharing the pics, Karen!

Looks good, but I am afraid I would leave there starving and broke!!

Wow! Thanks for sharing your lunch with us. I would love to try a place like this, but I would have to take someone with me who knew what to order. . . LOL.

Looks delicious!! And I love that there are peach colored raspberries! when I was in LA 2yrs ago, at the farmers market I had to ask what they were and the guy had me try them cause i’d never seen a raspberry that wasn’t burgandy. lol
