My tomato plants are having a moment!
Especially the romas and cherry tomatoes.
It’s like all of them suddenly ripened overnight. BOOM! I’ve got a bumper crop.
I just picked these, and I seriously cannot wait to eat them. 🙂
What should I do with them??

Yum! I’d be popping them like candy! Or maybe cut them into a nice salad with some baby spinach and baby lettuces.

My mouth is so watering right now. I love eating really good tomatoes by themselves. No sense in losing some of that flavor by mixing with other foods 🙂

Make a Spanish shrimp paella with a salad. Basically sauté a medium Spanish onion and a whole red bell pepper with some garlic. Then chop up some tomatoes and add a whole small package of Spanish rice and as its boiling put cilantro in it. Add shrimp in the last ten or so minutes 🙂 it’s very good with a salad and sangria 🙂

If you’ll excuse me, this rogue needs to make off with that bowl of tomatoes right now! I see flatbread and olive oil in their future… 😉

They’re gorgeous! I’m sure you’ve already scarfed them by now and I don’t blame you. Mine are still green (we usually don’t have ripe tomatoes here until August) but when they’re ready, I’ll be having tomato sandwiches 24/7. 🙂

It is hard to pass on fresh tomatoes. Although, they would be yummy sliced in half and placed on a thin pizza crust with provolone cheese and baked til bubbly. Then top with fresh basil and Alaea salt.

Mmm… those are so good!

Hi Beautiful Karen !!! You can try to cut the those nice tomatoes into halves place them in a big mason jar and pour some extra virgin olive oil , basil , salt, pepper , and minced or diced garlic let all those flavors sit overnight or at least one hour .
It will be ready in your fridge and you can eat it over a toast , as a topping on your salad , or with pasta, rice , etc Yummy 😀
