I think Sephora’s onto something here with the whole makeup and chocolate combining thing.
Think about it — if every beauty product on the market came with a piece of chocolate or caramel or a cupcake or a macaron…
I’m sorry, where was I?
My wallet would be hot to the touch and smoking from all the friction of me opening and closing it, and there would be mountains of muffin in my muffin top, holy sh*t!
This cute little Valentine’s Day set will seduce yo’ belly with four fancy chocolates from La Maison Du Chocolate while it entices your lips, because in addition to the candies, you get a long-wearing raspberry liquid matte lip color called Lustre Matte Long-Wear Lip Color in Mulberry.
For what it’s worth, if your willpower fails you and you scarf down all four of the chocolates the minute you get home, Mulberry won’t disappear on you. It has pretty good staying power/wear time, although it helps to line your lips first. The formula stays somewhat creamy and wet, and it tends to migrate outside my natural lip lines.
The La Maison du Chocolat for Sephora Collection is available now at Sephora stores (doesn’t look like it’s available online) for $20.

That’s really how I feel when I eat chocolate, LOL! 😀

I may have to buy that for myself for Galentine’s Day! Chocolate and makeup, what else could a single gal like me want?

I saw this at the checkout and went “Oh, not FAIR!” (I was just in the midst of spending the last of my makeup budget on two Armani Maestro glosses (504 and 400, to recreate the “Jupiter Ascending” wedding makeup. Curses, foiled again!

I liked the Cream Matte Lip Stains before, but serving them with chocolate takes it to a whole new level!

I don’t even care about the lip gloss, I just want the chocolate, lol.

That is so cute! If they ever start doing makeup with “Brie on Baguette”, I’ll be in real trouble. 🙂

My two favorite topics- chocolate & makeup. That raspberry color looks amazing. I may or may not be getting this for myself for Valentine’s Day. I tell ya, they really know how to twist a girl’s arm (as if I needed convincing!)
Estefania says
I actually have this color! (pout that I can’t get the chocolates haha)
The Sephora Lustre Mattes are an AMAZING formula, IMO. I reviewed them recently, and they’re great if you want that matte lip but you suffer from dry lips 🙂

This is so adorable!! I almost wish I didn’t already have this lipstick so I can order it lol. Too cute!

That’s a pretty shade, but I’d get this just for the chocolate! 🙂

Gaaaah, I knew there was something I wanted to get myself as a little treat! It was this fantastic little box of goodies! Several years ago, I was walking down Madison Avenue in NYC and I came to La Maison Du Chocolat. Every year, I would send my clients a little treat of artsy or high end chocolates and I thought I’d see what LMDC had to offer. I was about to order a few pieces to try out when I saw the price. I don’t remember exactly what it was, but it was sooooo much higher than any other candy store in the city. I slinked out of the store hoping no one had noticed me. So the chance to get to try 4 of their chocolates plus get one of the Sephora long wear glosses that I’ve been wanting to try anyway, what a deal! I should get in the car right now and head to Sephora except that it’s snowing…again. Hope you enjoyed the chocolates!

That shade is actually quite amazing!
