Whoa that seems like a lot of makeup and makeup brushes for a weekend trip! Hope you have fun!
Karen says
I threw it all into my bag at the last minute without much thought, LOL! I had about 5 minutes to pack.

No loud pop of bold colors? I see only neutral eyeshadows. What’s that lone eyeshadow sitting beside the blush? Hit pan!
Marian says
I love the bag!

I bring just about the same amount of stuff. Although I’d probably take less brushes and more variety of eye shadow colors. That’s why my weekender bags always weigh a ton.
Lulle says
That’s a lot of brushes 😀
I usually travel a lot lighter, if just away for a week-end. Well, it depends on the occasion, but I like to bring cream shadows (quick and do not necessarily require a brush), a cream blush and add a pop of color with bright lipsticks. Plus of course concealer, mascara and blotting powder.

Have a great trip, Karen!

It seems about right. What do you use the NW25 concealer for (since I know you’re a NC42)?
Karen says
Hi Laura,
I use it for my under eye area. I learned from a MAC artist that the peachy tones in NW help to counteract the purple shades from my dark circles.

Wow that’s quite a lot for the weekend but I’m guessing you have something nice planned 🙂 I love your makeup bag btw. Its impressive if it managed to fit everything in your picture 😀

I’m still working on perfecting my quick & easy makeup bag, lol. I always think I need options, so I pack about a zillion things, lol! Hope you’re having a great trip 🙂
