One of the BEST things about the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, other than the faux beach-themed swimming pools (with actual white sand!), of which the Lazy River is my fave, there’s also a huge Lush store.
And it’s HUGE!
It took about 20 minutes to sniff my way around the store’s perimeter… It was like Alice in Wonderland up in there, and there were so many yummy smells!
I was pretty much just window sniff shopping, not really intending to bring anything home, because my carryon luggage was already filled to the brim.
But it definitely was a reminder that I need to stop by a local Lush store soon…
Melissa says
Yes! I was there in July and every time I walked through the corridor Lush was all I could smell. I couldn’t stay out of there. I hope you went to the burger joint across the way…so good!
Karen says
Hi Melissa,
Yes, I did make it out to Burger Bar. So yummy! How long were you in Vegas for?
Melissa says
It was so delish! Especially their sweet potato fries. I was there the week of July 4th. It was awesome! glad you enjoyed
Karen says
I wish I tried the sweet potato fries! I only ordered the regular ones. They were good though. 🙂
Did you eat anywhere else in Mandalay Bay? We had dinner at Red Square one night and it was AMAZING.
Sarah says
OMG.. all these look so .. umm .. delicious!
Karen says
Yes, so yummy!

I’ve never been in a lush store before, there’s so much there!
Karen says
Tons of stuff, for sure.
Tennyoceres says
Hahaha I thought I was the only one who wants to gnaw on everything from Lush. I swear by their R&B (Revive & Balance) leave-in conditioner. It doubles as perfume for me because of the orange blossom smell in it.
Karen says
I enjoy Lush hair products too. Lots of their stuff works for my crazy mane!
Have you tried any of their makeup?
Tennyoceres says
I really should. The launch makeup products weren’t as great as advertised (no staying power) but if they release new stuff I’ll give them a shot.
Karen says
Yeah, they were a’ight. I do enjoy seeing them on display the store though… very pretty to look at!

I go to Lush every time I go to Vegas! I stay always at Mandalay so it’s a must! also Urban Outfitters since where I ñive I don’t have them…. Love the celestial cream, aquamarina, breath of fresh air, ocean salt, skin drink, enchanted eye cream, full of grace, and for the hubb ambrosia & dark angels ji ji! Have fun in Vegas!!!!!!
Karen says
Thanks Cristy!
I was there last week for a conference and I’m home now. It was a short trip, and I was in classes most of the time, but it was still a lot of fun.
Aren’t the pools at the Mandalay the best?
herroyalbleakness says
LOL at window sniff shopping! I honestly don’t know if I should go to the kitchen or the bathroom. These amazing photos make me crave for something yummmmyyy but I can equally smell Lush on my nose just by looking at em!
Karen says
Yes! I could easily spend the entire day sniffing my way through the store, haha!
Emiree says
One of my favorite stores !!! I live in Vegas and they recently opened a second Lush location in the Fashion Show Mall. I like the Mandalay Bay location better because it is larger, but the Fashion Show location isn’t such a pain to get to.
Karen says
Hi Emiree,
Mandalay Bay is REALLY far out there, isn’t it? I’ve never stayed there before and didn’t realize how far down it was in the strip until I tried to go to CVS. Seriously, it took about a half hour.
MARLA ROBINSON says
everything looks so good
Karen says
Yup!
Kiss & Make-up says
Oh I looooove Lush! Visiting a Lush store is like going on a field trip, there is just so much to see and touch and discover!
Karen says
Yes! I love all the colors and textures.
Happy Friday. 🙂

The Lush store has so many great looking things but I get such a headache after being in there (same with Yankee Candle or any of the highly fragranced stores). It’s a bummer because I love checking out all the goodies!
Karen says
That is bummer. 🙁 Hmmm, well, if you ever decide to order online I highly recommend their Dirty Shower Gel. I buy it for El Hub, and he actually loves it! This coming from a man who jokingly says that all soap “burns.”
Krystle(Baking Beauty) says
I love how they display their products! The LUSH store near me is literally the size of a closet! its impossible to move or breathe in it!
Ankita@corallista says
I haven’t been to Lush in ages! I want to try Sunnyside Bubble bar, have heard so much about it!
Rachel P says
I LOVE Lush, and interestingly, I only recently discovered them- we don’t have a store for like hundreds of miles from where I live, but now that I’ve tried it (and discovered the website), I’m hooked! My favorites are the Avo bath bombs and the Sexy Peel soap… and I want the cute robot bath bomb that I think is meant for children, but last time I smelled it in-store, it was so deliciously relaxing!
Kaja Elisabeth says
Not a Lush fan, but this is making me want to visit Mandalay Bay on my next Vegas visit. But for the beach though, that sounds amazing.

Hi Karen. I have a Lush tip for you if you haven’t already discovered it. I travel a lot and spent some time and effort trying to find workarounds for the stupid TSA 3-1-1 rules. I know from other posts of yours that you struggle with this too. Why don’t they understand a girl needs stuff and it won’t all fit in a quart size bag? Anyhow, that’s a rant for a different day. So in my quest for non liquids, I wandered into Lush one day and there lay the answers to some of my problems. I got Buffy, King of Skin, and a solid shampoo and conditioner ( don’t remember which ones). I put them in ziplock bags and take them every time I’m doing carryon instead of checked luggage. The Buffy replaced my liquid body exfoliation (plus it also moisturizers), the King of Skin replaced my body lotion and I also use it on my feet so no need for foot cream. Same concept for the solid shampoo and conditioner. I recently got the Toothy Tabs so that replaced my tube of toothpaste. All of these products replaced liquids and freed up so much more space in my 3-1-1. And, I love all of the products so double score! After I put them in a ziplock bag, I put them all together in a plastic lined zip bag from Eagle Creek that’s big enough to hold them all. That might sound like a little overkill but I live in Phoenix and the Buffy and King of Skin tend to melt easily so I just want a little extra insurance that if anything leaks from the ziplock bag, it won’t get out of the Eagle Creek bag in my luggage and stain my clothes. I’ve done this literally dozens of time with carryon and never had a problem with TSA. I am constantly looking for solids to replace liquids so I can use my 3-1-1 for the products that I have to have and can find no solid replacement for. Lush is the place to make this happen! Sorry this is a long post; I went into detail hoping it might be of some help to some of the other world weary travelers trying to battle the Evil Empire…..otherwise known as TSA.

gah i miss going to a lush store, especially a well-stocked one. the ones in asia are generally small with near expiration items.
Majick says
wow, don’t know “Lush” but those bath items look good enough to eat. Excuse me, I have to go find a cookie. LMAO!
