The power of visualization…
Picture it — we’re at Ulta together standing in the L’Oreal area. We see a display for the new Colour Riche Extraordinaire Lip Colors, and we see that they’re only $10 each and come in 16 shades, which are more like glosses than anything else.
We start doing our makeup tag-team thing, persuading each other with things like, “Yeah, you should TOTALLY get that one,” and “Duuuuude, they’re just like MAC Cremesheen Glasses,” and “Oh-em-gee, only $10? What a steal!” And then we start dropping tubes in our baskets like lipgloss fiends on a bender, mwhahahaha!
But then, at the exact same moment, we both notice Blushing Harmony, a rosy pink that has “everyday purse gloss” written all over it, but — ruh-roh — there’s only one tube left.
I’d let you have it, of course. 🙂 Even though I’d be seriously tempted to keep it for myself. It’s a perfect my-lips-but-better shade.

I can totally picture the two of us browsing the aisles at Ulta 🙂 I have wanted to try these glosses. I can never decide which color to pick though. Do they last long?

Blushing Harmony needs to be your go to gloss! It’s so pretty on you! I walked right pass these glosses at Walgreens the other day but now I’m curious to try one. If they’re anything like Cremesheen glosses I’m going to need them all! Especially if they last longer!

Haha I love the little story you paired with this review! It is so true that when two girls shop together you get the whole oh you need to get that oh this is amazing we need it and then the problem with the one tube dun dun. The product looks amazing and it really does look great on your lips 🙂 I have one question though, is the product a sticky formula or just creamy? Thanks.

These glosses are very tempting, BUT I realized when I saw the display in my drugstore that the tubes don’t have a seal or even a barcode sticker or ANYTHING to stop people from opening and swatching them.
Needless to say, most of the tubes had visibly been opened and tried, and thus were contaminated by whatever germs people were carrying (and I have no doubt that some disgusting people tried them on their lips… hello herpes!). For the other tubes, you just couldn’t tell if they were still unspoiled and safe to purchase or if people just closed the lid properly.
It was beyond gross and I don’t understand how drugstore brands can ever release a product WITHOUT a safety seal. Aren’t they shooting themselves in the foot? Nobody’s gonna buy these vandalized tubes and they’re gonna end up in the trash!
I will personally never ever buy one of these glosses in a store, I might order a couple shades online eventually, but without the constant sales and promotions at my local drugstores, it’s not so exciting…

I totally agree with you Lulle!

Im with Lulle on this one. No safety seal plus that price tag means Ive been passing them up at the drugstore. Yesterday at CVS they were $11. If someone were to lip swatch the whole line Id consider buying them online, but for now holding off on these even though they look like a good product.

I am so glad you reviewed these! I have bought a few of these lippies and just love ’em! At first I thought another liquid lipstick? but these are fabulous! I have rose melody, coral encore, fuschia symphony (totally hot!) rouge allegro and purple prelude. They are so pretty! I love the high impact lipgloss–the colors really pop! The smell is a little strong at first but it goes away. I’m glad you like them and can share in excitement! I said I’d only buy one but these are so amazing, way better then Maybelline and Almays formulas. Plus L’oreal KNOWS how to do some beautiful packaging! PS these are 7.99 at Target and Walmart!

I got three of these to try from Glamour: blushing harmony (my fav), ruby opera (love), and Coral encore (like it but haven’t worn it seriously yet).
I find the formula a bit smelly/fruity at first (almost a turnoff but it didn’t last). It goes on wet and shiny and then seems to “set” into a beautiful cream. It’s moisturizing without being sticky but I find that I will want to use a lip pencil because it bleeds ever so slightly into my lip lines. OH – this is my review of RUBY OPERA. I’m wearing it now.
I wouldn’t buy them in the store because they are not sealed and people are GROSS.

p.s. I would also say they are a less expensive dup for YSL glossy stains.
