Guess what’s happening right meow??

(It’s the Neiman Marcus Spring Beauty Event.)

Just a heads up in case you find yourself near a Neiman Marcus store…or watching Lifetime on the couch while browsing the Neiman website on your phone. There are a bunch of gift with purchases deals from brands including Laura Mercier, La Mer, Bobbi Brown and Le Metier de Beaute.

Also, if your purchases add up to $125 or more, which I know is a lot, they’ll throw in a tote made special for the event by designer Eddie Borgo filled with the following goodies…

  • Kiehl’s Since 1851 Super Multi-Corrective Eye-Opening Serum
  • Oribe Beautiful Color Shampoo and Conditioner (I’ve used both and they’re fabulous!)
  • Molton Brown Ylang-Ylang Body Wash (I love this stuff too)
  • Amore Pacific Time Response Eye Renewal Creme (another thumbs upl)
  • Fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask
  • Yves Saint Laurent Beaute Faux Cils Mascara. (Good ol’ Faux Cils… It’s the Old Faithful of mascaras.)
  • Lancer The Method: Polish, Cleanse, and Nourish

If you’re a baller and hit the $500 level…1) can I come over to your house and play? 🙂 And 2) you’ll also receive a matching Eddie Borgo wristlet and samples of Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask, Chantecaille Rose de Mai Face Oil and Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair, in addition to all the stuff you get for hitting the $125 level.

The promotion works both in stores and on the Neiman Marcus website, and it runs through March 1, 2015.

Happy shopping! — and if you discover anything that changes yo’ life, please let me know.

I placed my order last week(Tom ford spring collection) and got my shipping confirmation today…YESSS! I picked the gray tote and goodies,I can’t wait!

    • Karen says:

      Hi Metta,

YAY! What did you order from TF? Oh, and please tell me you’ve tried his liquid liner and the brow pencil. THEY ARE THE BEST!

      • Metta says:

I ordered all three of the new duo eye shadows, one mascara(curious about that black plum) and per your recommendation sable smoke lipstick. I completely forgot about the brow pencil, but that will definitely be in my next order and the new spring creme color I have heard lots of good things about it.

The tote is really cool! Minimalist and graphic, I really like it. Of course I’m broke right now, as seems to be systematically the case when there’s a cool GWP offer somewhere…

  4. I’d move to the US JUST for things like this, lol! Okay, and other stuff. But seriously, they never do cool things like that here…

I have to say, I was really underwhelmed with the samples included in this beauty event’s GWP. I purposely held off purchasing refills for my Oribe products when I heard they had an event coming up, but the store gift has hardly any samples in it, and almost all of them are small packets, not the deluxe samples that have come in many previous beauty event GWPs. The tote is cool, but for a $125 minimum purchase I expect more. I also noticed that many of the brands offering their own GWP have increased the minimum you have to spend to get their GWPs, or have reduced the value of the GWP. Most notably Trish McEvoy, who’s $300 minimum to get one small free item seems out of character based on previous events, and not appropriate considering the price point of the brand. I expect a $300 GWP from Chantecaille, but not Trish McEvoy.

  8. Laura says:

I delayed my Tom Ford Spring purchases on pre-sale to pick-up on Day #1 of the Beauty Event. Totally worth it. (BTW, all 3 duos and the 2 new polishes followed me home.)

  9. I wish we had this opportunity here too.. Such an awesome deal :-* tote and all those goodies are just drool worthy 🙂
