Have You Tried Artdeco Makeup?

Published in: Daily Beauty

They’re a cruelty-free brand from Germany that my friend Marina over at MakeUp4All introduced me to recently.

These items are some colors from their spring/summer 2012 collection.

Aren’t the lil’ pans super cute? I love how you can customize your own palette.

Artdeco’s a little hard to find in stores in the US, but you can get them online over at tenderlovingskincare.co.uk. Shipping to the US is a flat rate of £5.50 (about $8.73…not bad!).

Oh, I’ve also got my eye on a few of the colors from the new Dita Von Teese Classics Collection that recently launched. The lipsticks looks DOPE!

Have you used anything from Artdeco before? What do you think of the line?

Their eyeshadow base is something I keep going back to – it’s amazing 🙂 The other products are also great 🙂

You can also buy Artdeco from Beauty Bay (beautybay.com) which has FREE international delivery! Great post – you always take the best photos of make up, and the Dita collection looks awesome! I also just love the design of the Artdeco palettes – the copper looks so elegant on my make up table.

I love Artdeco! It’s probably my go-to mid-range brand. Of course, here in Europe it’s pretty much everywhere and, aside from their huge permanent range, they also regularly release limited editions which are usually well thought out and come in different packaging. I LOVED their Marrakesh Sunset collection for summer 2012 and the blush/bronzer thing they released with it is probably the prettiest compact I have. I have no idea how many times I repurchased their All In One mascara, I always have it in rotation. They also do skincare (both organic and regular, in separate ranges) and mineral makeup. The only thing I’ve been underwhelmed by are their foundations, but the rest is pretty awesome!

I was looking at it yesterday and I did not know they had palettes! That explains a lot! lol! If I’m honest I thought the packaging was AWFUL, but they’re meant to be depotted!! makes sense.

The quality is lovely though and since I never saw the palette, I will definitely be giving these a ago! A customized palette sounds amazing!

Thank you so much for the link to buy!!! I’ve been wanting to order some of the Dita stuff but couldn’t figure out where to buy it. They used to sell Art Deco on HSN, then it quickly disappeared. Man, I watch WAAAAAAY too much QVC and HSN. I have a problem! Hope you are having a great day Karen!

I love Art Deco! I’m currently living in South Korea and it’s pretty easy to find over here (and pretty cheap too!) I think I may have to check out the spring/summer collection this weekend and stock up before I return to the U.S. 🙂 Thanks for the post.

Hi Georgiana, the £5.50 is for a “signed, secure and tracked” parcel, so technically the delivery is free 🙂 Its the safest way to send them and guarantee that everyone receives them.

Love the customisable palette! I wish more brands would do this.

I LOVE their Eyeshadow Base! I discovered it before UDPP since Urban Decay pulled out here in the Philippines years ago. It’s more malleable IMO and does the job (on me at least) better than UDPP. It costs half vs. UDPP to so one can’t go wrong with it. 🙂
