I made a vow on my birthday that I would officially stop shopping in the juniors department (I’m 39; it’s time), but I may have to “bend” that vow for this necklace I saw at Nordstrom today.
It looks kind of like the $76 Kate Spade Graceful Floral Graduated Necklace I’ve been coveting but more bling-y (OH, YEEEEEEAH!), and it’s only $24.
It also comes in cream, which I think looks even more Kate Spade-y.
We’ll see how long I can hold out…

Gorgeous finds! Who can blame you for shopping in the Juniors department with Kate Spade-esque inspired jewellery like that! :3

It’s funny you say that because I was recently walking by the Juniors section in a department store and thought of you. No joke. I quickly added (in my head) “there’s a lot of cute stuff here and it doesn’t look too young, at all”. I’m here to help you rationalize at any time. 🙂

I actually love the non-Kate Spade necklace even more. And I agree, the cream one looks more Kate Spade-like. Btw, I’m 36, look to be in my early 20’s with no makeup, and shop exclusively in the junior’s section at department stores. I tend to like the juniors’ fashion more & I don’t look out of place or feel too old for most of it. The prices are also more wallet-friendly. A win-win, if you ask me

your picture tricked me a little! I thought the necklace was a big statement necklace but then when i looked again I could see it was just an illusion because of the multiple necklaces in the row 8( still pretty but I think it would be awesome with the multiple rows of flowers

The two necklaces look very Kate Spade-like. Juniors or not, I think you should get one… or both.

I got an email from Kate Spade a couple days ago saying they were having a “wedding sale” online… which meant all sorts of beautiful accessories were on sale! I was eying some of the earrings (down to $19!) but eventually talked myself out of it. 😛 You might want to check online to see if there is anything else you like!

K-Rock, if you lurve jewelry and scarves and adorable cosmetics bags (which I know you do), you should shop Forever 21’s site! They always have amazing sales and their accessories are SO CUTE. I’m talking 12 pages of necklaces alone – and they’re all $12-ish or less. I’ve ordered numerous necklaces, earrings, scarves, and makeup bags from them and they ship uber fast and everything is really pretty in person. Plus you can spend the money you save on fancy lipsticks! 😉
XOXO

Looks lovely but I refuse to buy stuff made in China. The horrible conditions in which they work over there and the low-end quality of any product really make me not want to spend money on anything made in China. And Bangladesh for that matter. Until they can offer better working conditions to those people and stop with the child labor I’m going to buy things made in the USA, Canada, Europe or Japan.
