It being Halloween and all, how about some eye candy? Walk with me, while we take a quick excursion to the Land of Dolce & Gabbana…
If you’ve never crossed paths with Dolce & Gabbana’s Desert Quad ($67, and part of the brand’s permanent line), try to, especially if you love warm brown on your eyes. It’s an absolute joy to blend!
And speaking of joy…if you plan to be in San Francisco this Saturday, November 2, swing by the Dolce & Gabbana counter at Saks Fifth Avenue in Union Square.
D&G national artist Christian McCulloch will be there giving makeovers at the counter.
I met Christian last spring, and he was a ton of fun and a tremendous resource with a vast arsenal of makeup tips.
Call the Dolce & Gabbana counter at (415) 438-5225 to schedule an appointment. No minimum purchase necessary, and it’s free to attend. 🙂

I need to go to a makeup artist event at some point. I’d love to find someone who is an expert at doing makeup on very freckly faces. Every foundation tutorial mentioning freckles I find is meant to cover them up, which is NOT what I want.

I really love Dolce & Gabanna make-up. Their Perfect Luminous Foundation is my HG foundation. I agree their eyeshadows are terrific too. I might just have to buy that Desert quad. Those colors look beautiful.

Oh man, if I was in SF, I would be there in a heart beat. I have been dying to try D&G but I don’t know of anywhere in Canada that stocks it.
BTW, I visited SF in the summer and fell absolutely in love with the city. So beautiful!
