Benefit The Porefessional
Benefit just released a new product called The Porefessional ($28).
It’s a silky, lightweight, translucent balm designed to minimize the appearance of pores. Added plus: it’s oil free!
So far I’ve only seen it online at Ulta, but I’ll let you know if it’s available anywhere else when I get more deets.

Funny, I just recieved an Ulta catalogue today in the mail, and spotted this in it. Im curious to try it, thinking its similar to the L’oreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base. I think the L’oreal is great but leaves my face looking relatively lighter…Maybe this one is better, hope someone who has tried it lets us know!

Seems really similar to Doctor Feelgood… But perhaps it isn’t? But from the description it does.
Karen says
Yah, I was thinking the same thing! I wonder if it’s thinner…
Trude says
Hmm hopefully it is lighter, ’cause Dr Feelgood did not work well with my powder foundation (or maybe I just didn’t know what I was doing?). Seems like maybe it’s just another kind of primer…

I kept thinking, ‘hey, there’s a typo!’ when I saw this title. Nope, not a typo. Just clever product naming. Benefit just loves to do that kind of thing.

Saw this product in an Ulta store today. I had makeup on so I didnt want to (possibly) smear it so I tried it on my hand where you have the tiny pores (where hair is coming out) and it covered that up pretty darn well. It looked smooth and has a nice, light smell to it. I didnt want to make an impulse buy so I decided to find some reviews on it first. It is very similar to the L’Oreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base (i have it) but I honestly can’t say if the results will be the same or different when applied. ***Sephora offers this product online only***

just bough this stuff today and it’s amazing (i got it at the sephora in SOHO NY). It’s light weight and really reduces pore size with out bein goily. I wore this outside all day in 90 degree weather and it didnt feel oily or sticky and get my face pretty oil free.

I did a before and after picture using the Porefessional and you can see how different skin looks.
My pores are quite large and although they don’t disappear, they def look smaller.
