Be cool, honey bunny. Be cool!
Try to contain your excitement (“try” being the key word here), Pulp Fiction fans, when you check out the Urban Decay Pulp Fiction collection.
The fall launch commemorates the 20-year anniversary of the movie that gave us phrases like, “Bring out the gimp,” and the products are all designed around one of the flick’s iconic characters, Mrs. Mia Wallace (played by the gorgeous Uma Thurman).
“I do believe Marsellus Wallace, my husband, your boss, told you to take ME out and do WHATEVER I WANTED. Now I wanna dance, I wanna win. I want that trophy, so dance good.”
— Mrs. Mia Wallace
Here’s a quick look at the five-piece collection, which is coming July 16 to Urban Decay counters at Sephora, Ulta and select Macy’s stores, and online to sephora.com, ulta.com, macys.com, beauty.com and urbandecay.com.

Limited edition, $34.

I want to get the lipstick and the lip liner 😉
Natalie says
This collection is awesome! I might feel that way because I love the movie. But either way. Love neutral eyes and red lips!
Monica says
Pulp Fiction is my FAVORITE movie, so of course I need that lipstick. Need.
<3
Karen says
Hi Monica,
Yeah you do! Then you have to wear it and enter a twist contest. 🙂
Elena says
Sadly I never saw the movie until two days ago. I watched it because I feel you need to before you buy anything inspired by it! I enjoyed it and usually I am not the biggest fan of Tarantino films (they are either hit or miss with me).
Want the palette! The nail polish is tempting but their formula chips on me quickly 🙁 the palette is a must. I love the packaging and I am so happy to see some great swatches!
Karen says
Hi Elena,
I feel the same about Tarantino films. I’ve watched a few where I felt were heavy on the style but light on character development and story.
Since we’re talking about movies…what are your top 3?
Elena says
Ah, Karen…top 3 movies? That is tough.
Like I enjoy movies but sometimes you have to drag me to the theater (unless it is hot as heck outside!).
My bf is the movie buff. I really can’t think of a movie I could watch over and over again! But speaking of Quentin Tarantino, I did enjoy Django Unchained. And I recently saw the new X-Men movie and it was pretty decent. Also Captain America: The Winter Soldier was really good too.
I guess I should hit the theater! I really want to see Lucy! It looks good!
And I suppose now that I think about it, a few series I have enjoyed (cause I can’t pick 3) are the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Those were movies when I was younger I was SO excited for and had to go to the midnight release! And I love Alice in Wonderland! The original animated one. I studied the novel in college and it made me enjoy it more (even though it is trippy for being a kids movie/book).
Elizabeth says
Thank you for posting this! I am interested in the palette, but the only pictures I had seen online were the press release photos. I’m so glad you swatched everything and took packaging photos from all sides.
Karen says
You’re very welcome. I hope this helps! If you have any questions let me know…I have them on my desk right now. (I still have to test for wear though!)
Kalli says
Thank you for posting pics! Pulp Fiction is one of my favorite movies and I’ve been dying to see swatches of everything, so thanks again! I will totally be buying the entire collection!
Shannon says
oh YUM! This is almost enough to get me to watch Pulp Fiction 😉
emma says
karen!! karl legerfeld’s cat is going to be the face for shu uemura’s campaign. please tell me that’s tabs alter-ego.
Kristy says
I was hoping the Mia Wallace lip/nail would be more vampy…didn’t they use Chanel Vamp on her in the movie?
Jessica says
Omg it’s going to be in stores??? I NEED that lipstick!
shana says
Might have to have that palette! I mean, I have no reason whatsoever for needing it as I already have million neutral palettes…but what’s one more?
Katherine M says
May have to re-watch Pulp Fiction! I love that UD does fun collections like this. Tarantino films are hit or miss with me, too. Pulp Fiction is a classic, though. So many palettes that are looking like “must haves” this year…
Alison M says
The lipstick!! I think that’s all I’m getting from this one 🙂
fancie says
The palette looked a little meh at first but I kinda like the swatches. It has some great essential colors. The lipstick and lip pencil look very sexy!
Amanda Val says
Okay, cue the barrage of shocked responses and disbelief but I have never seen Pulp Fiction. It’s on the top of my to-watch list though, so I’m definitely going to see it at some point.
Nothing here really actually speaks to me that much.. These are very beautiful basics (the neutral palette and red lips) but nothing that can’t be duped in the long run. I’ll pass thanks.
Stephanie says
Amanda,
Don’t feel bad, I’ve never seen it either. It was on last weekend and my husband made me sit down and watch the diner scene with the $5 shake, that’s all I have seen of the movie. I felt like it didn’t live up to the hyoe, but then I didn’t watch the whole movie.
Vineetha says
Loved the theme but the collection does not excite me all that! 🙁
Bella says
Great idea, somewhat dull in the execution. Now why doesn’t Mac come up with a Pulp Fiction collection :D?
Agata says
Not too excited about this collection…The only thing that caught my eye is that glitter eyeliner. Surprise, surprise, I am drawn to glitter, lol.
Sylirael says
This is such a great movie tribute for UD to do! I really like the look of the lipstick and pencil 🙂 The eyeliner is pretty spiffy looking too, and I get what they were going for with the eyeshadow palette, but I’m so over neutrals right now, LOL!
Dana says
I’m one of those odd one out people who has never loved Pulp Fiction, which I know some people may gasp at, but nevertheless I’m super excited about this product release. That glitter liner is just to die for!

I definitely want the eye palette!

Hay Karen! Take a look at this cat-lady-craziness etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/pt/shop/PurpleFishBowl2?ref=l2-shopheader-name
Izzie says
I love how cohesive and classic this collection is. Seriously. If someone only used the products from this collection they’d be on trend from now till the end of time.
Chic lapin says
This collection is so awesome. I’m a huge Pulp Fiction fan! 😀
Kim says
These are all a bit too dramatic for me but the Pulp Fiction tie-in is awesome. I love the movie and the soundtrack. It’s funny because I just said yesterday “Zed’s dead, baby… Zed’s dead”. I can’t believe it’s been 20 years. Yikes.
Stephanie Smith says
My husband and I watched “Pulp Fiction” on our very first date! So that lipstick is a must for me! I loved the movie, enough to go on a second date, LOL! The palette is a little too dramatic for my coloring, but I will rock that lipstick!
Natalye says
Pulp Fiction is my favorite movie but the colors in the eye shadow palette are just too ordinary. At first glance they look like the shadows in the Naked Basics palette.
meghan says
i actually love that it seems close to naked basics! i hope this isn’t a super fast sell-out immediately type deal… i want to get the palette, but i don’t want to have to go crazy about it!
Lindsey says
Hey!
I am desperate to order this set but Urban Decay don’t ship to the UK =\\
Do you know anywhere it is stocked that will ship to the UK?
