The name of this powder blush from the RiRi Hearts MAC fall collection is a play on Rihanna’s song, Good Girl Gone Bad, but for real though, when I wear it, I feel much more like “Good Girl Gone Goofy.”
There’s just something about this satiny copper! It makes me giddy in the best possible way. 🙂
RiRi Hearts MAC: Bad Girl Gone Good Powder Blush
- I used two layers here for a more intense flush, but you could easily buff it down or use a fan brush if you prefer your blushes on the subtler side.
- No problems with patchiness, and the powder grains don’t noticeably stand out on my skin.
- Consider it if you wear warm shades well, or if you’re searching for a blush to wear with copper, coral or peach lipsticks and glosses.
- Satin finish is uber-forgiving on skin with large pores (HALLELUJAH!).
- Similar to NARS Amour Blush, but with less rose and more peach.
I think Bad Girl Gone Good’s flattering on tanned skin, and it pairs particularly well with warm browns and golds like the colors in RiRi’s new Her Cocoa quad.
Heart this! It’s going straight into my daily blush rotation.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

This shade reminds me too much of MAC “coppertone” so I will be taking a pass on this one.

Was just thinking the same thing!
I’ve ordered Coppertone and haven’t gotten it yet.
Wouldn’t want to waste the money on something so similar.

I never wear blush because I do not think it will look good on me but I want to try this color (:
Agata says
I love your goofy pictures. You are adorable and so is the blush. Do you think it’d look good on me or is it too warm?
Agata says
P.S.
What lipstick are you wearing in these pictures? Gorgeous!
Karen says
Hi Agata,
You could work it, but you’ll probably need a fan brush to mellow it out. I bet though with some contouring/highlighting it could look very striking on you.
As for the lippie, it’s Who’s That Chick from the same collection! It’s really frosty at first, but after you let it mellow out it’s very wearable.

This is on top of my list to get for this collection. I think it’s a flattering blush for warm skin tones.

Love the blush! I think it will look great applied with a light hand on fair lovelies. Very, very pretty. 😀
Speaking of pretty, I love your grey top in these pictures! Would you mind sharing where you got it? 😀
Karen says
Hey Jules,
It’s by H&M. I picked it up last weekend! I think it was $12.
Janelle says
Do you think this would look good on much darker skin tones? NW45+…or is this really light?
Karen says
Hi Janelle,
Yes, I think this would read well on darker skin tones. I used two layers here because I was in the mood for bright cheeks, but you could easily get away with one.
Danielle says
I was originally on the fence with this, but I am definitely getting it now!
Karen says
Sweet, hope you love it!

I was totally uninterested in the whole collection until i saw this blush on you 😉

I saw this on another blog and I wasn’t that impressed. I really like it on you though. I’m going to pass because I don’t need any blushes, but It looks great on you.

I need this! More so because you mentioned NARS Amour which is one of my all time favorites! 🙂
