I know that April showers are supposed to bring May flowers, but what about the January showers? What do we get for all of those? LOL!
Hurry up with the flowers already please! Perhaps just an early spring bloom?
And might I suggest tulips and freesia? I think they’d go well with the new $44 Make Up For Ever Artist Palette Volume 3 – Florals.
How pretty is that first row? I wanna smear that blue, purple and taupe all over my… I was gonna say lids, but heck, I want it all over my body! Then I’d put it on Tabs, too, so we could be all matchy-matchy.
Yes…I’m a crazy cat lady. 🙂
All nine of the shadows in Florals are re-promoted shades from the Make Up For Ever permanent line, and at 0.05 ounces each, the pans are slightly smaller than the regular 0.07-oz. singles MUFE sells individually.
The nine-pan palette includes…
- ME-230, a metallic peacock blue
- I-544, an iridescent pink granite
- ME-930, a metallic blackened purple
- D-236, a lagoon blue with a Diamond finish
- I-804, an iridescent golden pink
- I-918, an iridescent lavender
- S-404, a satin straw yellow
- ME-512, a metallic golden beige
- I-528, an iridescent pearl
What do you think? Does this one get a no, or a big, blooming yes? Do you have any of these shadows already?
If you’re feelin’ Florals, it’s available now for $44 at Sephora stores and online.

I love the colors in this one, especially the middle row! So perfect for Spring! I may need to add this to my list. Thanks for the swatches.

I have most of these- from other MUFE palettes. So I’m not sure if I can justify this.
Jen says
I picked up the first two Artist Palettes last year and got the holiday palette as well, and I came to the same conclusion…the colors that weren’t exact repeats were close enough to be dupes of colors from the other palettes, so it’s a skip for me.

Sometimes, I wish I was at least 15 years younger to wear those colorful eye shadow shades. I think makeup has become so much more fun lately. However, I am much older and a creature of habit. I am saving my pennies for Bobbi Brown’s Malibu Nudes Collection for Spring 2016. I saw that she is re-promoting her Nude on Nude palette which was my most favorite. I am very excited because my favorite shade of Malted in in the palette. There is also some duo blush palettes as part of the collection.

I don’t own any MUFE and this palette is calling my name. They are all gorgeous but that first row is stunning!! I think I’ll be picking this up! Thanks for the swatches!

I don’t have any of those shadows and I must say $44 for that palette is a real bargain. MUFE is tied with Smashbox for my favorite makeup co.
How are you feelin’ today mama?
Kwmechelle says
This is a big fat yes! Beautiful colors. I do own a MUFE palette but I wouldn’t mind having an assortment of shadows from MUFE because the pigmentation is so stellar!
Fran says
I’m such a fan of MUFE eyeshadows that I already have nine of these. Even so, the palette is so pretty that I was tempted! If the three shades I didn’t have were ones I would use often, I might have gone ahead and sprung for it.

Pretty!

I’m considering the MUFE nudes palette, and this collection is also calling out to me. I don’t normally go for palettes with lots of color, but this just looks so tropical and fun. I hear the formula is top notch.
LindaLibraLoca says
I like the overall look, but I don’t think these are my colors. But I´d take an early bloom, please. Or real winter, with snow and everything, not that cold-ish rainy grey out there!
Nicole - Beyond the Pale and Freckled says
I feel like they go so heavily in the blues, and the same type of shades in all their colorful palettes. With their huge line, would hope for more variety! And more mattes would be nice too. 🙂
Lulle says
I like that the color combination is more unique than the traditional spring pastel palette. That being said, I wish they would have included different finishes, like some satins or soft mattes.
India says
I think the colors are really unique but I doubt I would ever wear them, I tend to go on two opposite sides, either very neutral or very crazy colorful and glittery
Lauren says
This is very pretty and unique…I’d have to play chemist to get the perfect shade, but that’s what I like to do with some pallettes!
JUVY says
Karen you’re seriously making me want to buy errrrrthang! My wallet does not like you. ?
Erin says
Too many pastels for me. I like all the shades though I just would barely use half of the pans over the next 3 years. I have to admit, it’s a good deal and if I had more money, I’d probably buy it anyway for the few times I would use the more pastel colors.
Laarni says
Beautiful colors – happy colors but I hope they named the shades better. It’s just me! 😛
Rachel R. says
I have half the colors, but the rest are so pretty, and the cost is so good, I still want it. At $21 a single, it’s still a good deal for the shades I don’t have.
Kiss & Make-up says
I really love MUFE’s Artist Shadow formula! And yes to colors!
Chris25 says
So many pretty and spring-appropriate colors here, especially that middle row!
Heather L says
That lagoon blue is beautiful! And just when I thought Tabs couldn’t get any more gorgeous…!
Kim says
Such a pretty pop of color. Of course, boring me likes the 2nd vertical row.
Cyndi says
These colors are so darn pretty!! I just don’t know if I could rock them as i’m more of a neutrals gal myself. But I love theses!!!
Isu says
I want it!
