I hope so! I don’t really have many opportunities to go to fancy soirees, but hopefully either dress will open up some doors, LOL. I’m really hoping the silk shantung material will make it a bit less prom-esque, too. We shall see.

I’ve never heard of Nicky Butler. I love that his quote, though — that man is my new hero! I wouldn’t mind some new “stars” in my night, LOL.

Hey! I see we have a wine fan. Girlfriend, pass me a glass of your best sangiovese. I’ll bring the chocolate cake.

Thanks, girlie. Glad you like it! I was tempted to wear it again today, but you know, there’s just so many lipsticks and not enough time, LOL.

Regarding the bridesmaids dresses, I think ultimately that’s the look my friend is going to go for. It’s interesting, too, how each of the attendants (myself included) knew exactly what dresses would/wouldn’t work for their body types. I’m just glad I don’t have to wear an A-line dress (it’s a cut that makes my big ole’ bum look ginormous, for some reason).

Both dresses are very cute and since they are “tea length” you would certainly be able to wear them for other occasions. I sure hope that you pick a color which suits your beautiful complexion.
And to Tiffany, thanks for sharing that bit of information about Papeete. Perhaps someday I may go there. I ended up doing none of the things that I thought that I might do yesterday except drink wine. For me, it’s like that man on qvc or hsn who makes jewelry. Have you ever seen him? His name is Nicky Butler. His jewelry is fun, He says that a woman without jewelry is like a night without stars. I like that saying and now I will relate it to the wine. Here is my corny poem. A night without wine can never be fine. hahahaha!!! Have a wonderful week. Louise
