It’s expensive, but it’s so good. Even though Hourglass has really expensive products, especially the blushes, the powder products? — oh, my gosh. Basically, my nightmare scenario with blush is that I go outside and I’m wearing two little circles on my cheeks, but with this blush, that never happens. I can put it on with one foot out the door, and it looks great. You could be falling out of a plane while putting on blush, and you’d land, and your cheeks would look legit.
PRICE: $38
AVAILABILITY: Available now in the Hourglass permanent line

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
P.S. Well, basically my whole life has been a lie. I found out yesterday that NASA says that the sky has essentially shifted, and so all of the zodiac signs are a little different. Plus, there’s a thirteenth zodiac sign now, and apparently I’m no longer a Gemini, at least according to NASA. I’m a Taurus.
I can’t even deal… I just can’t.

Buying Hourglass today !
So, i’m not a Sagittarius?
Karen says
Ooh, whatcha getting?
Kiss & Make-up says
HAH! I need to find out if my sign changed… 🙂
Jennifer Osborn says
What? NASA doesn’t know what it’s talking about.
Also, I’ve never tried Hourglass blush and maybe I shouldn’t. I’m really married to Nars and Tarte blushes.
Btw, have you tried those Sephora spray blushes? If you’ve already reviewed them I’m sorry I missed it.
Karen says
Hi Jennifer,
Seriously, what the what are they talking about?
I love my NARS blushes and my Tarte blushes too (I’m wearing one today), but you’ve gotta try the Hourglass ones. They’re super easy to use and foolproof.
Haven’t tried the Sephora Spray Blushes… That sounds cray! I saw spray nail polish there last week and wanted to LOL!
hanna says
What?! I didn’t hear about the sky shifting.
Karen says
Ya just did. LOL
Chris25 says
Ooh, I must have this! I’ll never forget the time I went to work looking like I had two apples taped to my cheeks. Never again.
Carolina Braina says
What? I’m an Aries now? I’ve always liked being a Taurus! There really are no certainties in life, LOL!
LindaLibraLoca says
That means I am a Capricorn, not an Aquarius? Hm, don’t think that.
Tatiana says
No way in heck am I a Virgo. Lol. That’s just weird, because Dear Daughter is definitely more Cancer than Gemini and Dear Husband will always be a Gemini to me.
Just what I need another Hourglass blush to lust after. Gonna wait on this one. Dear Husband is going to the UK next week and I’ve asked him to pick up some SUQQU and Chanel that’s not available here in the US.
Karen says
New #relationshipgoal: If you can, marry a man who will take your makeup wish list with him on a business trip!
What Chanel products are on your list?
Tatiana says
If they still have it in stock the CC cream is available in 10 there. I find the 20 available in the US is too deep for my skin tone. Also I think the sunblock ingredients are different in Europe because when I tried to order it online they said they couldn’t ship it to the US.
Yeah, I got a good one. If he has time to shop Dear Husband usually brings back at least one thing on my wish list. The only issue is he hates spending money and thinks I have too much makeup as it is. (I don’t disagree with him there.) So I have to prioritize what I want.
Karen says
I hope he can find it for you! Fingers crossed for more Chanel. ?
Rachel says
Wow I had to look up that horoscope thing, I can’t believe it! Generally I’m not that into those things but I feel like my previous sign described me well and my new one is the complete opposite!
Also you look really pretty, but hourglass is too rich for my blood, I’ve been sticking to the drugstore stuff as of late.
Karen says
Hi Rachel,
Drugstore makeup rocks! What blushes are you loving these days?
Erin says
I don’t spend a ton on blush usually but I’m love their blushes for their blend! It’s always the blush I put on in Sephora. I need to get one. I just keep wishing they’d do another blush only palette!
Rachel says
I like the NYX ones, they have a good dup of Nars Orgasm. Also I was lucky enough to come across some Too Faced makeup at a garage sale so I sanitized it with some alcohol spray and have been enjoying their chocolate bronzers for cheap!
Karen says
Oh that’s cool! Too Faced makes lovely broznzers. So does Benefit! If you ever get the chance to try Hula give it a go.
Michelle says
Wow! I’m an NC35 and I def need to check this blush out 🙂

Chelsea says
I’m not into astrology (I think it’s a bunch of woo woo) but I match my original sign’s stereotypes, Cancer, really well. It’s spot-on. I don’t know much about Gemini’s though.
Karen says
I’m a Gemini! We’re supposed to be good communicators.
Chelsea says
Cancers are emotional and kind of crybabies it seems like, which really fits me, LOL
Karen says
Hey, that describes me too, LOL! ?
Agata says
So apparently I am that new zodiac sign now, instead of being a Sagittarius. That’s totally crazy!!!
I totally agree on Hourglass blushes, they are the best! And that picture is adorable. What are you wearing on your lips?
Karen says
Hi Agata,
It’s MAC Lipstensity in Postmodern. <3
Kim says
Oh, I’m sorry but, just, no. My highly scientific observational model confirms that everyone is exactly as their original sign describes. This new constellation and rearranging of dates hocus pocus will not stand. 🙂 Seriously, though, I’m still a Pisces but now I’m farther away from Aries. That demonstrates that this new scenario is not credible. HAHA!
Ana Samuel says
This picture makes you want to buy the blush straight away! It’s just crazy joyful!
Aury says
Zodiac signs are assigned at birth, so they don’t actually change. It’ll be interesting to look at it for Connor Claire, though, and see if she fits in more with the “new” sign or the old one ? Keep us posted!
Stephanie says
NASA has no business trying to figure out astrology; it’s a totally different type of science than astronomy. 😛
Kathleen says
That blush is great..but that lipcolor! ?? What is it, please? Thx!
PS I’m still a Sagittarius – whew!
