Cool! Even Tracy Reese likes Clinique. 🙂
The chic designer hand picked eight of her favorite Clinique makeup and skin care products for the new Tracy Reese for Clinique Gift with Purchase, available now through November 20 online and at Nordstrom stores (while supplies last).
Now might be a good time to resupply. Just spend $25 or more on any of your favorites from Clinique, and receive the Colour Surge Eyeshadow Trio, Different Lipstick in Raspberry Glace, Quickliner for Eyes in Black/Brown, two makeup bags (designed by Tracy herself) and travel-size versions of Clinique’s Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser, the Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer in SPF 20, and one High Impact Mascara in Black (grand total: a $75 value).
Swatches from the left: Color Surge Eye Shadow Trio (first, second and third), Quickliner for Eyes in Black/Brown, High Impact Mascara, and Different Lipstick in Raspberry Glace
Boy, Raspberry Glace sure shows up in a lot of Cliqnue’s GWPs, doesn’t it? I must have 10 tubes scattered about the house. Luckily I like the shade. I’ll always have a soft spot for it because it was one of the first lipsticks I wore as a teenager.
Yup, Clinique was my makeup gateway drug… 🙂
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

I got this a couple of weeks ago when I stocked up on moisture surge. I really like the moisturizer included. There’s enough of it to last for at least a month of morning and night applications. Long enough for me to know how my skin takes to it. So far, my skin looks brighter and smoother since using it.
Karen says
Ooh, I’m stoked about trying it! I put a little bit on my neck and like the texture so far. Hope it doesn’t break me out. 🙂

I rarely get “tricked” into buying something that offers free gifts because the free gifts are usually sample products that I’m not interested in. I think the makeup bags are the only things that I would actually use if I do get the free gifts. =)
Karen says
You can never have enough cute makeup bags. 🙂
Nina says
i really like the Tracy Reese bags that Clinique gives away ….
Karen says
So cute and colorful! I love the tiny little one… perfect for stowing away Temptations. LOL, that was totally cat lady.
Nina says
lol … i think i wont even have a chance to store them temptations. when i walk in from the pet store w/ a bag of em, my furkids jump all over me in the most funny, excited manner!
Alison says
Haha! Clinique was my makeup gateway drug too!
Karen says
I think it’s that way for a lot of women. 🙂 What did you start of with? Their makeup or skin care?
Alison says
It was definitely the makeup… I wish I could remember specifically what my first purchase was!
JoJo says
Oh my love the raspberry glace lipstick
Karen says
Yes! It’s one of those colors that stands the test of time.
KPrice says
Huh, I did not think I needed this but now I feel I totally do.
Karen says
I think it’s the bag. 😀 It’s really cute!

I have more Clinique GWP than I care to admit. Of course, I would have been happy to add this one, but the Hubs had to hit 2 different stores to get my liner and brow keeper last week. I think they may actually be discontinuing my brow keeper – I feel like I should start stockpiling! Something about the idea of zombie attacks and ghost eyebrows invokes that reaction in me. 🙂
Swatch And Learn says
That was nice of your husband to go through the trouble of trying to find it for you. 🙂
Haha, and your comment about zombie attacks and stockpiling made me giggle. I like your sense of humour, Kim!
Karen says
Amen and hallelujah to that. If your man hits up two different stores to buy your liner and brow filler … PUT A RING ON IT.
Kim says
HAHA! Agreed! He does all the grocery shopping too (I make the list and he does the dirty work). Plus, did I mention the part where he’s 6’4″ and looks like a movie star? Yeah, I’m pretty thankful for my good fortune in husbands! 🙂
Kim says
Thanks Swatch! The Hubs is a definite keeper. He also had to find dress shirts for our boys that day, and had a horrible time getting any. He came home and said that he’d get makeup for me anytime of the week instead. 🙂
Vonvon says
Dang! Only $25 to get a GWP from Clinique?
Here in the UK, it’s £40! that’s like more than $60! Or as the cheeky, but in a bad way, Clinique ad would put it, buy 2 or more Clinique products, one to be skincare. And a skincare item would cost almost £20! Such a rip-off UK is, but then this is a known fact! But then, £40 is still better than in Malaysia, where you have to purchase an equivalent of at least £60 (RM300) to get some miserable pieces of GWP!
Shopping in the US is still the best!
Pardon my little rant! Just feeling a little grumpy, and having shopping withdrawal symptoms!
Karen says
I guess the fact that you’re overseas factors into the price.
PinkGlitter says
That lipstick is so pretty! When I was a teen, my Aunt would always give me her Clinique samples. It was my first “high end” brand. 🙂
Karen says
That’s such a sweet memory! I bet you were thrilled to get those samples. I know I felt like the sh*t when I busted out my Clinique blush and lipstick in the girl’s bathroom, LOL!
Amanda says
Really pretty colors, especially the lipstick!
Karen says
It’s an oldie but goodie. Are you a Clinique fan, Amanda?
yuri says
they raised the amount you have to spend i think last time it was $21. its still worth it
Karen says
If you’re going to stock up you might as well get a few little extras. Who knows, you may need those travel size items for vacay someday!
ellebelle says
I swear! If I get one more Raspberry Glace in a GWP… I’m gonna scream!
Karen says
LOL! That color seems to always show up in Clinique’s GWPs. It’s a good shade, though…
Christy says
I want the bag! Too bad the nearest Nordie’s is about a 3 hour drive away and another hour of border line up for me 🙁
Nika says
Clinique always has the best GWPs because you don’t need to spend “that much” to get them! I never have to think twice with Clinique’s GWPs. 🙂
KonaGirl says
Love the review! Clinique was my first too during a shopping trip at MossBrothers…my 2nd was a Borghese purchase with with purchase Black train case with everything a teen could hope for- especially bright sparkly teal eyeshadow! I was a goner! 😉
